I like fresh ginger scones with clotted cream & Jam. My tea I like a good old Yorkshire tea bag with some Yorkshire water brewed nice & strong with 2 sugars and plenty of full fat milk...lovely...MMMMMM
Okay I get you now.lol You would normally 'take tea' as it were hence my response, if you meant how would you feel personally if you were invited, it could mean a sign of friendship or just getting to know someone whilst having a good opportunity to show off the best china & your best home baked Ginger scones
BTW my scones are lush, I used to be a pastry chef so if you want any recipes :-))

Could I just have juice, or a glass of milk, instead?
Not a tea or coffee drinker!
I'd love to come. Would we have biscuits or crumpets?

I would take it that you want to be my friend and I would graciously accept your offer with thanks! Needless to say I would reciprocate by inviting you to lunch or dinner at a later date!!!
