To cover the Earth with 3 miles of water, a corresponding amount of atmosphere would have been displaced (into outer space.) As the atmosphere "boiled off", the lighter gases would go first, leaving a greater proportion of heavier gases, so why don't ice core samples confirm this changed atmosphere?

The amount of potential energy contained in the massive volume of water required to flood the Earth over 40 days (we're talking 5.5" of sea level rise every 13 minutes!) would release a HUGE amount of kinetic energy. The energy released by this much falling water would cause a subsequent temperature rise of almost 2700 degrees F. Water boils at 212 degrees!

A flooded planet means there are no plants left. Even the Cyanobacteria are dying. The life cycle has been temporarily broken. There is nothing left but slimy, gray slop. What did the animals eat once they were released from this ark?

Why do you hypocritically deny the SAME SCIENCE that you depend on in your lives, each and every day?

Doesn't the following say Jesus is better than any angel? Doesn't verse 5 ask to which of the angels did God ever say He would be a father to? Aren't all angels commanded to worship Jesus? Is Jesus is an angel then wouldn't He have been commanded to worship Himself? How does that make sense?

Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Me and my husband got married in November of 06, we had a bunch of wedding pictures taken but just haven't gotten around to distributing them to our families yet. So what I'm wondering is, if we got some 8x10s and some 5x7s of our favorite pics and put them in frames. Would that be good gifts for like our grandparents and parents? I just can't figure out what to get them, and we're a little tight on money this year because we're moving next month. Is it too late to hand out pics from our wedding that was almost a year ago already? Or what? I need input!!! Thanks :)

There can be no doubt from history, Scripture and the writings of the fathers that the belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist was a universal belief from the earliest Church. From the beginning the Eucharist was the focus of all..........http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-S6YMuFYyaa9ESBoW5DFwEjL_HhqA?p=135

What I mean is, suppose there was no whitnessing, no healing, no sidewalk or door to door pamphlet preaching, no political intervention. Just the Bible. Could reading it alone without anothers input be enough to convert someone to Christianity? Your thoughts?

Seems to be it is clear that Jesus is God according to Isaiah. I mean it says his name shall be called the mighty God.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

There seems to be a constant motion, traffic, attitude, accidents happening, people making horrible decisions, agendas, hardened hearts, and people who just hate on others, social climbers, gold diggers, even the nice people, they have to put up with all these criminal-like people who saturate the cities.

Don't believe me? Then DON'T come here! lol.

There's just so much crap in today's society, as it's ALLLLLL about the $, and competition, and everyone wanting to be the "best."

I think it's absolutely sickening and disguisting how it's all become,

when there are nice and poor people around the world who are so innocent and struggle and hunger and die,

while people here do all that I mentioned above.

Why has society turned so ....crazy?

I don't want to say evil, since that's a strong word, but in a sense it really is?

Has it always been this way?

And only the masochistic, or the ignorant could not realize all thats going on around us and like it.

Colossians 2:20-22
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Isn't it saying, if dead to law = alive unto God,
then why are ye still subject(slaves) to laws?

Then doesn't it go on to clarify:
by the using of laws all perish?

But the all thereof is all the KofG "within you",
for by thy words thou art condemned: Mt 12:37
and it's your words that defileth you in Mt 15:11.
Put this with: law is the "ministration of condemnation",
and "God did not send his Son to condemn the world".

So I asked this question on Y! A:
Perish the thought of
one all perishing
by the u-sing of laws?

And the Y!A Police deleted it,
saying that it was a violation(?),
perhaps to speak grace & truth.
Or do they just hit the delete button
whenever a childish fundie says to?

There as allot fo mental road blocks in my life that have been stopping me from doing well with school, employment, making friends, etc. I've been watching the Physic Sylvia Browne on the Montel Williams Show. She's been helping peopple with their problems for years, some times sucessfully other times not.

I am a Believer in Jesus Chist, and read the Bible and know that God forbides this and warns against it. However she saids that she believes in God, Jeuss-But that Jesus got down from the Cross, but did stop sin, and there is no devil, no hell).

I'm worried that if I call Sylvia and she helps me or not, that when it's my time to die, and I stand before God at this White Thrown Judgement, that I will be turned away from God for trusting someone else for help, instead of Him.

If I call Slyvia, will I be condemed to Hell?

I just came back from my BIL's house. He had my 3 kids, his mom, live in girlfriend, his son and me to his apartment for my daughter's birthday because he couldn't make her party which was yesterday.

He had a pizza and an ice cream birthday cake. I knew he was getting the cake.

I baked them an apple pie and brought it with me (thinking how good it was going to taste with the ice cream!)

When it came time for cake the ice cream cake went out and the pie stayed on the counter.

Was this just rude on their part, or was it rude on my part to bring a second dessert?

Well I have done that. I have truly expanded myself in many ways. I learned not to be afraid of my old religion anymore. Thank God! (So to speak, hahaha!) I studied and learned that...I basically still believe in God, regardless. Others may not find that. I don't know. I don't believe in Christ though, as my "personal saviour". What a bunch of malarky. If you study other regilions in detail, you'll understand why. And don't just slough it off with this, "Well, Satan was copying Jesus" crap. I used to say that myself until the evidence was far too much. There comes a point...! Zoroastrian, Hindu, Buddhist origins all have histories of very specific "Jesus" lifetime happenings. I DARE you to read about it all. I DARE YOU. And the first century Catholics said of it, "Look what profit we have gained from this enourmous tale!" (That's in the history books too!) Someone put them in the Bible and made everyone believe it and passed it on. WOW. We bought it.
