Me and my husband got married in November of 06, we had a bunch of wedding pictures taken but just haven't gotten around to distributing them to our families yet. So what I'm wondering is, if we got some 8x10s and some 5x7s of our favorite pics and put them in frames. Would that be good gifts for like our grandparents and parents? I just can't figure out what to get them, and we're a little tight on money this year because we're moving next month. Is it too late to hand out pics from our wedding that was almost a year ago already? Or what? I need input!!! Thanks :)

My son and daughter-in-law did that years ago after they got married. I was so thrilled to get them, especially already framed. They mean so much to me.

It's a good idea me and my husband did the same thing last year with our wedding pics, this year our parents are getting more pics for Christmas this time of our 16 week old daughter

I don't see why you couldn't give the pictures to them. That's what my cousin did last year for Christmas. She got pictures of her kids who are 3 and 2, put them in nice frame and handed them out at christmas. Your parents & family should be pleased to get that for Christmas! I mean, its you and your husband!

goodluck!

I think it is totally appropriate. Never too late to give the special people in your life pictures of milestones in your life. They will probably appreciate it more than some high tech gadget that will probably break within a year, or even become outdated.

I think it's awesome, and they're sure to understand you're tight on money (they were there once too!)
Good luck :)
EDIT: If you're REALLY uncomfortable with it, perhaps include a pretty Christmas card with each one to make it "seasonal".

I think that's a great idea. I know my family loves pictures, we just did that idea with my bro's graduation.

Yes, a very lovely gift.
Older people probably would appreciate this more than another vase or sweater.
