Michael is/was not Yeshua (Jesus). Michael is an Archangel. Yeshua was the son of G-d, second person in the trinity.

At times, individuals are known by more than one name. For example, the patriarch Jacob is also known as Israel, and the apostle Peter, as Simon. (Genesis 49:1, 2; Matthew 10:2) Likewise, the Bible indicates that Michael is another name for Jesus Christ, before and after his life on earth. Let us consider Scriptural reasons for drawing that conclusion.

Archangel. God’s Word refers to Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact, the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. Moreover, Jesus is linked with the office of archangel. Regarding the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice.” Thus the voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel. This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.

the same Qs to you why he didn´t receive the name of Emmanuel?

If Michael is a great prince in heaven (Daniel 12:1) is an archangel (Judas 7) is the chief of the angels (Joshua 5:13-14 and Revelation 12:7) and is son of God (Job 1:6 and 2:1)

and Jesus is a son of God (John 3:16) has the voice of archangel (1 thessal 4:16) the angel of Revelation 10:1-3 match in every single detail with Jesus Chirst.

the bible call the one that God will sent the angel or messenger of Covenant in Malachi 3:1-3.

Saying "Michael is not Jesus " is nothing in a trial you have to give proof not say " I am not guilty"

The reason he was named Jesus was because the Angel of the Lord came to Mary in a dream and said His name would be Jesus, not Michael

Michael was an angel and angels rebuked people for worshipping them

Jesus did NOT rebuke people for worshipping him

the same word is used in the Greek (even if translated differently in the English) when folks worshipped Jesus or worshipped an angel

so that points directly to Jesus NOT being an angel - Michael or otherwise

His real name is Yeshua. I believe in the belief system of the Jehovah's Witness that Michael and Jesus are the same, but in Christianity they are not. I am not a theist so i could not say. I do know Yeshua though because that is what he said in my dream.

Before he came to earth, Jesus was known as Michael the Archangel. When he came to earth, his role changed to the saving of mankind from sin, which would not have been necessary if Adam had proved faithful under test. "Jesus" means "salvation of Jehovah." His name reflect his role in the salvation process. Thus, he was addressed as "Jesus."
