Nothing pricey, nothing cheap, nothing common,
I want to give something individual and special this year,
Something for 15 year olds and adult-parents?
Ideas please?
I would really appreciate them.

Have a candid family photo framed. Those types of things make people tear up, I hear.

For graduation, the best gifts I received were all DIY. Of course, not everyone appreciates that kind of thing.

Well I suppose homemade Christmas ornaments could be considered both common and cheap, depending on who you are. However, I'd suggest going to your craft store (Michael's is a good one if you have one of those) and looking around at their christmas stuff for ornament ideas...buy cardboard cutouts like i'm doing and paint them, or handpaint glass ornaments, or make cute stockings...it's relatively cheap for you, but expensive in thought and meaning for them.
Good luck!
