Why is there SO much hardship, fierceness, hate, and BS in society nowdays, especially in urban cities, NYC/LA

There seems to be a constant motion, traffic, attitude, accidents happening, people making horrible decisions, agendas, hardened hearts, and people who just hate on others, social climbers, gold diggers, even the nice people, they have to put up with all these criminal-like people who saturate the cities.

Don't believe me? Then DON'T come here! lol.

There's just so much crap in today's society, as it's ALLLLLL about the $, and competition, and everyone wanting to be the "best."

I think it's absolutely sickening and disguisting how it's all become,

when there are nice and poor people around the world who are so innocent and struggle and hunger and die,

while people here do all that I mentioned above.


Why has society turned so ....crazy?

I don't want to say evil, since that's a strong word, but in a sense it really is?

Has it always been this way?

And only the masochistic, or the ignorant could not realize all thats going on around us and like it.

For a good deal of reasons...

For one, the cities you mentioned have a lot of people struggling to feed themselves.

Two, The Federal Reserve system is robbing our country blind. It's the exact sort of system that caused "The Colonies" to revolt against England.

In my opinion, you should be more sympathetic and understanding about why people are driven to crime...
I'm not saying it's right, I'm only saying (being from the city with the worst poverty in the country) that I understand that desperate times can lead to desperate measures, though I don't condone thier actions.

I suggest you look at the world from thier perspectives. It helps, if you want to understand why these things are happening.

One of the BEST things to do, is to do people favors, if you want the s--t to end. Too many people being too self-centered is only contributing to the problem. It will never help a society at all.

We must learn from our history, or we are bound to repeat it.

I agree with you in that, it is generally that people is so into themselves that they forget about the real life, and are so endulged with things that give exterior pleasures..because there is something everybody knows...but don't wanna see, they prefer to put it a side a run to the contest of ego, or just be relaxed and go with flow....that's why everything is as it is...MOST OF THE PEOPLE HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT WE ALL HAVE A PURPOSE IN THIS PLANET, AND IS TO FIND JESUS IN OUR HEARTS AND START LIVING HOW HE TAUGHT US IN HIS WORD. LOVE is pure, eternal , pacient, believes all, forgives all...and if you look closely, that is exactly what is missing, men get involved whith so many woman at the same time, disrespecting their own being as head of the family, or future family,if you ask people about family, it's a hard thing to accomplish...weird weren't they also created for that purpose, to multiply and be fruitful..we will never be able to be changed inside if we don't accept JesusChrist as our personall savior and Lord...if you have you will know what I am talking about...if you haven't yet, I tell you...no matter if what is arround you, nothing will make you be apart from Him, because He is the Way, the Truth,and the Life.

well and also because there is notthe same balance in schools and home...remember children were, are going to schools expending 8 hours a day receiving mental growth, but not spiritual food, (the word of JesusChrist)...and it doesn't matter what religions of how many we have in the world, the word of God applies for every single person in this life and in the other.) after getting from school they go , do hemework and hey computers, or videos or music or street or anything else but having a cool coversation with their parents...of course not every case is the same , but you know what I mean, in homes where the parents, I am sorry but don't do as they should, it would be great if these kids or teen would have a good base at school ...good base, not about the way his or her teacher wants to teach spiritual stuff , but the good base that only the word of Jesus will give us, that Rock base, that will never be destroyed.

Jesus is comming soon, lets be faithful and pray for those who still walk in the dark, by not knowing Jesus in their hearts yet.

Maybe it hasn't always been quite as wierd but its always been violent--humans are a violent breed-
I blame alot of this craziness on the government--
Television brainwashing -school programming--lying about history i.e. "Christopher Columbus discovered America"
weird chemicals in the air,in the food,in the water--
We have just entered into a new millennium and just in time,the governments wants control of every facet of your personal life
and some rebel--some rebel just enough but not too much to break the rules-some cross the line--some only cross their own lines--but just a little bit.
Either way you have a perfect storm on the front--I would suggest since you have begun to take notice of the insanity increasing in todays society that you do yourself a favor
and get smart or get strong--get a clue and run or stock pile guns and ammo and stand up to the bs..im with you on the later.

I think a lot of it is jealousy. I admit it, I'm jealous of my bosses. They were basically given their own business by their father and they grew up wealthy, and likely will remain wealthy. I work hard for my money, have to take orders and I'm not anywhere near wealthy. I think that has a lot to do with why there's so many angry people out there. Even if your primary focus is not on money or power, other people that you have to deal with on a daily basis can make you feel like you're not adequate, or valid because you don't have as much money, stuff, or power as them or others. This causes, in my opinion, some of the angry attitudes that a lot of people seem to have. Of course, that's no excuse to treat people poorly. Sorry if that was rambling.

There have always been people who are angry, who do awful things and who will continue to do awful things, because that is their nature. They live in fear and fear makes them hate, drive like maniacs, start fires, kill one another etc. They don't think there'll be enough for them so they have to grab it all in case someone else gets a bigger piece of the pie than they do. They are selfish and self absorbed, rankist, racist, ignorant and arrogant , which again originates with fear.

And after 9/11 it seems to have gone into warp speed around the world.

If the Mayans are correct all this bleakness and hatred will change by dec. 21 2012. It may be Armagedden or hopefully it will be something else , a mass consciousness saying there has to be more to life than this.

Mankind's beliefs have been challenged, and he has become vary confused almost to the point of insanity, his anger and hate has engulfed his common sense and has become lost, and he seeks a God that is not there for him, he looks for a purpose and asks why are these terrible things happening to him, he cannot accept the fact that he/man is the creator of it all, man has an insatiable need to blame something or someone for the actions he him self created and will not take responsibility those actions, It is man that has created all of the above you speak of, greed and violence has become a way of life for him truly the beginning of mankind's destruction of self.

Well for one thing, most people dont really realize how fortunate they are. They know in some abstract sense there are poor people around the world, but they dont really get it for some reason unless they see it, and they havent seen it. If you could put them on a plane and fly them to the slums of some truely poor country (which is most of south america, all of africa, much of asia...) and let them spend a day there, they would be changed forever.

I see where your coming from . There is so much violence in the world today and people are so self centered .Well my study of the bible points to the very conditions that we see today . In the bible at 2 Timothy 3:says2 Timothy 3:1-17

1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth. So the predicted that these things would happen but it also says at Psalms The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.So those who love GOD will live forever on the earth and the wick will not be here to ruin life for every one else.

well greed isn't a harsh word,recently a poor and nice person i know did someone a favor and an established well to do woman took the credit for it, being rude about it 3 times to him in the process,it also caused him to be cheated out of a one day a week job. the poor guy got in trouble for trying to civilly, stick up for himself .but just because she is well off and in the same line of business as the ones he did the favor for , her rudeness and lying isn't reprimanded whatsoever--That's society for you these days. The best policy : don't do anyone any favors

maybe they are tired, or hurt, or hungry. There really isn't an excuse for being cruel. The only way you can know the answer to this question is to utilize each and every day asking each and every person, why, why are you angry or sad. Maybe the world isn't the happy place that was depicted to us on television.
