LDS believe that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. In this way Jesus is not only the creator of this world our Savior and Redeemer, but he is also our older Brother. Lucifer would also be a spirit brother, but since he rebelled against God and Christ, He lost his first estate and never gained a body.

In the book, "Mormon Doctrine", pg 751, it declares that all mankind and angles are spirit children of God. Jesus being the eldest son of Heavenly Father, and Lucifer/Satan one of the next ones.
But the bible says that He is God. Immanuel, with us. He is the creator of all things, including Satan, and men---and thus he could not be Satan's or an LDS brother. (Isa 7:14, Matt 1:23, John 1:1-3.

Am I your brother?
Am I Christ's brother?
Are you Christ's sister?
Is the Arc-Angel Michael Jesus' brother?
If so...then why isn't Lucifer Jesus' brother?
We believe in a "pre-Mortal" existence, when we were all in Heaven together. Before we came to earth. We're all children of God, even Lucifer.

The Bible.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

seems just as feasible as jesus being thought of as God . there are some ancient scriptures that refer to satan as God's first son .Lucifer is thought of as the devil or satan before the fall when it was an Angel and the angels are supposed to have been created before any human creatures.

Relationship has NOTHING to do with Righteousness.
If Hitler were your brother...would that have made it right what he did? (of course not)
The name "Lucifer" actually means "Light Bearer" He was an angel in authority....BEFORE he rebelled....
then he was cast out and became the devil.
consider words like these which also have the cognate "LUC":
lucent
"shining, bright, luminous," c.1500, from L. lucentem, prp. of lucere "to shine" (see light (n.)).
lucid
1591, "bright, shining," from L. lucidus "light, bright, clear," from lucere "to shine," from lux (gen. lucis) "light," from PIE base *leuk- "to shine, be bright" (see light (n.)).
