There as allot fo mental road blocks in my life that have been stopping me from doing well with school, employment, making friends, etc. I've been watching the Physic Sylvia Browne on the Montel Williams Show. She's been helping peopple with their problems for years, some times sucessfully other times not.
I am a Believer in Jesus Chist, and read the Bible and know that God forbides this and warns against it. However she saids that she believes in God, Jeuss-But that Jesus got down from the Cross, but did stop sin, and there is no devil, no hell).
I'm worried that if I call Sylvia and she helps me or not, that when it's my time to die, and I stand before God at this White Thrown Judgement, that I will be turned away from God for trusting someone else for help, instead of Him.
If I call Slyvia, will I be condemed to Hell?

it is undeniable that psychics sometimes know things that should be impossible for them to know. Where do they get this information? The answer is - Satan and his demons. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 tells us, “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” Acts 16:16-18 describes a fortune teller who was able to predict the future until the Apostle Paul rebuked a demon out of her.
Satan pretends to be kind and helpful. He tries to appear as something good. Satan and his demons will give a psychic information about a person, in order to get that person hooked into spiritism – something that God forbids. It appears innocent at first, but soon a person finds himself addicted to psychics – allowing Satan to control and destroy their life. 1 Peter 5:8 proclaims, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." In most cases, the psychics themselves are likely deceived, not knowing the true source of the information they receive. Whatever the case, and wherever the source of the information – nothing connected to spiritism, witchcraft, astrology, etc. is God’s intention for us as a means to discover information.

I've been looking for psychics too, but that's because I feel painful everytime I try to call up my ex-girlfriend, at the same time no one wants to hears my sentimental problems. I've been unemployed since long ago. I'm still trying to get in the university, and my only "friends" are in the hi5.com.
God is love and understands you. The people here shouldn't berate you. I'm sure if you call that Sylvia, you'll be dissappointed, NOT doomed or damned.
You're eager for an answer. Perhaps you need to weep by lots and let it all out.
I can't give an answer to your sorrow; just hold on.
I like parapsychology, and I've found that most psychics are false. It's easier to find an honest politician.
I think once you have skipped Sylvia, you'll try to find another. Just take it easy. Be patient.
Hold On.

First of all you mean psychic and not physics, which is a science. Second, as a Christian you don't need psychics. You say well that God forbids and warns against this. Then why be so fearful that you turn from righteousness for an answer. What communion does light have with darkness. Sure God forgives, but that does not mean that in this life you will not be subject to the effects of your own wrong doing.

God turns no one away who seeks him.
There's nothing really wrong with consulting a psychic; it's just that many of them are charlatans, and you might not find from them what you actually seek.
They can't give you all the answers. Some answers you can only find by looking into yourself and asking yourself what is preventing you from succeeding. It sounds to me as if you already have some ideas about why you aren't succeeding.
What do _you_ think you need to do, to succeed in life? That might tell you just as much as Sylvia could.

Calling her will not in and of itseld condemn you. But I urge you not to. You already know its wrong. It is a sin to consult mediums and the like. We go to Hell for unrepented sin. That is something WE control. Call on Jesus to help you w/ your problems. Go to the doctor or a Christian, if you need too. Remember the Bible says that Luke was the great physician. That is what that really means. God can heal divinely. But he can use medicine too. Where do people think they got the knowledge to make medicine?I'll give you a hint-GOD!!!!!

My thought on the subject of psychics, is that if you believe that they're from G-d then it's OK. Perhaps their gift is from G-d? I would try it out and see what happens. I don't think you have much to worry about if you care and are a good person. I'm not Christian but they teach if you believe in Jesus then you're saved and since you believe I don't think you'll have problems.

Physics or psychics?
Yes, it would be wrong to consult with people who claim to be able to tell you the future.
Only a person with no trust in God's love and providence would do such a thing.
Remember that Jesus said that even the sparrows have food to eat and a place to live -- and we are much more precious to God than sparrows!
Trust in GOD !!!

Physics?
Here, learn who Sylvia Browne really is:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,,2198928,00.html
There's no god or heaven either, by the way. Those beliefs are the real "mental road blocks" in your life.
================
Someone below writes 'it is undeniable that psychics sometimes know things that should be impossible for them to know."
To the contrary, it's very deniable. I deny it right here.
If a psychic has any special abilities, let her demonstrate them. She can't - they never do - because they don't have any powers.

If you call Sylvia, you are gullible. She is a fraud.
And I'm sure plenty of people will explain why you should call them "psychics" instead of "physics."

For starters, if this lady is not confessing the truth of Christ Jesus, dont listen to her
Second, psychics are either frauds or under the influence of demons... either way, never trust them
