Ex JWs please give me your response.

They are telling people that JWs don't mind what religion you're in. Do you believe that?

How do non-belivers know that lying is bad or cheating while married is bad. Who says it's wrong? What are the references? Values passed on by parents? Where did the parents get that stuff from?

Y'all need to become Christians!

Christians don't have to brush our teeth because the Holy Spirit defeats the devil's plaque attack and the Holy Spirit fills any cavity that may try to form. Non-tooth brusher for 14 years! No more paying those evil dentist bills!

Please excuse me for my stupidity just trying to have a little fun! Hope you enjoy!

I don't feel like being an uptight Christian toinght.

Deut 22:23-25 (NIV) If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin PLEDGED TO BE MARRIED and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death--the girl because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man's wife. You must purge the evil from among you. But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl PLEDGED TO BE MARRIED and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die.

Mat 1:18 (NIV) This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was PLEDGED TO BE MARRIED to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Ghost.

The Law of God the Father makes the Holy Ghost guilty to be stoned to death and maybe San Gabriel, too because he molested the young Virgin Mary with an indecent proposal. Mary was already PLEDGED TO BE MARRIED to Joseph. The Holy Ghost actually abused her and left her pregnant! Would you cast any first stone?

Why do you people celebrate it? What's the tree about? Where does Santa come in? A big fat guy coming down people's chimneys and giving presents known as Santa???
I want to know the correlation between Christ and Saint Nicholas (unless they are the same person...I don't that's why I'm asking!) So basically explain the all of the above (or part if you don't know) to get my best answer....otherwise you get a thumbs down!

PS - If you didn't figure it out, I'm not Christian

well i want to do some sort of relief fund for the CA fires b/c i live in MS where Katrina hit, and i think it would be nice to give back. my high school is only about 400 students, so i know i want to get other schools involved to help and a few other active students in my school to help me with this, but i dont know hwere to start. and i think we are going to send the money to the school. and maybe if this is really succesful, we may get someone to sponser us to go there and actually help with the recovery. but i need to know where to start with the relief fund.

i also want this to be HUGE..
not just a few hundred dollars,
like 10 thousand dollars
because maybe we could cover 2 or 3 or more schools.
i want this to be huge b/c i want to say that we made a difference in our community and b/c i think this is a good thing to help with.

Jesus' teaching are truly divine. I believe they are the path to a truly holy life that brings us closer to God.

But there's something that I do not fully understand. Why did Jesus have to suffer and die on the cross in order for us to be forgiven, saved, or to get to Heaven?

God is supposed to be all powerful and omnipotent. He can do anything. Why would He require some violent act (totally in human terms) to get us closer to Him? God can save anyone. God can do anything. So why did Jesus have to suffer for this to happen?

I would love for someone to be able to put this theological construct into simple terms for me.

Thanks.

"We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly."

1 Cor. 4:12-13a

I think Paul and those who worked along side with him set quite an example!

Can you honestly say the same about yourself?

In my french composition (posted earlier) I put...

Il n'est pas petit ou grand...

people responded saying that that is wrong, putting Il est ni petit ni grand...is this correct in an American high school...it's not just regional to a specific part of FR.

THANKS!

Name the biggest, best, most outrageous gift anyone can give you!

My top pick is Salvation, and Jesus gave us that. Of material things, I'd say....

A brand new mansion, with a brand new Mercedes outside, and a $25,000 a day shopping spree.

Your turn! ♥

I was driving to work the other day. Every day, I have to drive past this Baptist Church to get to there. The sign that was next to the church read, "Atheists, let us not fight, let us unite for a better world." Normally, I would not be caught near a church since I am an atheist, and I fear that Christians would rip my head off for it, but I decided to go to see what this was about. It was like a presentation about how science does not have to conflict with their beliefs. They had slides that showed that just because you are Christian does not mean that you have to deny the big bang theory or the theory of evolution, and how you do not have to deny God if you believe those theories. Just curious what you people think of this churches actions.

was it so scandalous to some people to think that Jesus might have had children?

Is it just because it wasn't mentioned in the bible? Or is there some sex-phobia going on?

Your opinion, please?

Doesn't it seem strange that to anyone else that the wildfires are happening in California, and hurricanes happen frequently in Florida & Louisiana and other gulf states, and that there are tornadoes more frequently in the midwestern states?? Do you think God is showing his wrath?? I know for a fact that alot of "natural disasters" happen in these areas...and I truly believe that God's Wrath is sparking these situations. What do you believe?

1) Is/was Jesus actually God incarnate? Meaning, was He was he God choosing to enter into human history as a human being?

2) Why is the fact that Christ died for us and suffered on the cross so important? Are not His teachings sufficient enough?

Thanks and God Bless?
