Sounds like your just trying to get something started on here to me. Which when it comes to God or the lack there of people get rather touchy about.
Personally, I believe in God. But I don't believe I should spend time trying to convince you that He exists. Because first of all your heart is closed to the idea, mine was too about 2 years ago, and you don't really want to hear these "crazy Christians" talk about their God. And I'm not going to spend time trying to convince you that He exists because I have no proof, I just know in my heart. Unlike most people I don't really follow the Bible, because we all know that science can disprove it time and time again. And because MAN wrote the bible and no author on this world can write without putting his/her opinion in the writings. Also because the Bible has been translated many times.
So I have no proof other then what I feel. Maybe one day you'll be walking along doing your own thing thinking about the millions of things you have to do and you'll feel HIM, like I did, and your life will be better for it.
Good Luck in all you do.

I don't really believe in "God" either, but everything depends on your view of what God is. I don't believe god was an actual form and that he created the earth in 7 days, but I still pray to him when I need to base my faith around something. I think that when it all comes down to it, everybody believes in a creator that made the earth and us, but we just call it different things. People who don't follow a religion call it science and just plain luck and those who do call it a god. Either way, we shouldn't be arguing about whether or not there is one because the control of the world is out of our hands and we're not going to change it by arguing and letting the issue divide us.

There's always been something that I've never been able to answer: where did this all come from and why? I agree, God is a quick easy answer to the question, but I'm not a firm believer in the "scriptures" interpretation of him/her/it. I believe there is something bigger than everything else, and that is what i think they all refer to as a creator (which I like better incidently). what matters, deep down, is how you feel that you fit in with the whole scheme of things, and that you are at peace with everything else. Whatever god is, it won't care if you're busy doubting him/her.. :)

That is something you will have to convince yourself of. I will say this, I have experienced many things in my short time on this planet, and it has made me believe in the prospect of God. I disagree with alot of people about who God is or how he acts, but I do believe. Once again, you and only you can convince yourself that there is one. Have a Great day!

First of all, Vanessa A is not too bright. Please pick up a book.
Second, nobody cares what you believe in. Why would you want people to sit here and preach to you? It is this condescending attitude that gives atheists a bad name. You should be open to learning and growing as a person. You should never hold dogmatically to any belief even if it is atheism. This only leads to stagnation and will put all growth at a stand still.
and the answer above me is ridiculous. the crime rate has nothing to do with atheism. Which Christians should we act like? The one who burned people at the stake or the ones who go looking for gay sex in bathrooms?

Embrace that which you have in this world, because unlike the believers, you have more reason to believe your life is important and everything you do in it is important and it's not just a test for you to waste away in hope for something better after you're gone. I love it that some people want to make you feel guilty for not struggling to believe in an afterlife which only serves to pacify them and help them cope with their miserable existence.

Who made the Earth you are standing on. Everything is made somehow.
Who invented LOVE?
Why do you feel right and wrong? Everyone has a conscience.
Explain the rainbow without God.
Why is the good and evil?
The Bible
No, these and many more questions like them do not support God. But, to believe is called faith.
God will prove Himself when Jesus returns and every Knee shall bow,
Every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
We don't have to prove God.
I am a Christian.
Here is my question to you.
What if you are wrong? Will it be worth burning in hell?

Hey if you don't believe in GOD nothing I say will change your mind. Its a matter of faith and you don't appear to have any. Life is a good teacher you may develop it later after some more experiences. I have a question for you. When there is disaster in your life (a life & death issue) like a family member near death or your life is in danger. What do you do for solace, I pray it relaxes me and makes me feel better and closer to my family friends and most importantly GOD. What do you do since you don't believe in GOD you must feel very alone?

I can not convince you. The Lord will knock on you heart and you will choose to either let Him in or not. I can tell you He loves you very much. So much that He sent His only Son into this world to Die for my Sins and yours. I do know that with out God you will never know what true peace and love is. So I pray that you consider life and how you want to live it. It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment. With out Jesus there is only one verdict and an eternity to regret.

well than you believe in coincedences...but i think everything happens for a reason and if you do good you will recieve good. You have your own opinion i have mine...Sure maybe there is a god and he/she has the head of a monkey, body of a prorcupine and the antlers of a reindeer, or there is no god..in the end we just need to live our lives out to the fullest
