It is a question of balance. A perfect man, Adam, got us all into this mess. Only a true perfect man, Jesus, could get us out. Despite the ego of many men alive today.

He was Adam, and since Adam brought sin into the world, Adam, as Christ, had to take sin away. It is the Law of Karma in action. He was the first born soul to have reached perfection.

Not any one person can...only a sinless person.
God's penalty for sin is eternal death.
Jesus did not sin and did not deserve the penalty, yet He willingly incurred the penalty so we would not have to.

I don't get it either. Nor the need for the holy spirit. Truly, if god is god, there would be no need for the holy trinity, or the whole story of removing sin.

Everything is possible with God! The answer you're lookin' for is in the Bible. It won't make any sense to you until you really want it too. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the truth to you.

It only works if the person is perfect, and that only happens if the person is God. That's who Jesus is. When He walked the earth He was 100% man and 100% God.
