I'm not a Catholic, but I do attend mass with my boyfriend regularly as I love the atmosphere of spirituality and the good vibes that the church holds.

However, since I'm not Catholic, I'm not exactly sure which things I can participate in and which things I can't during mass.

My boyfriend said that the only thing I can't do is take Eucharist (although it is awkward to sit in the pew feeling like i've been excommunicated or something).

I wanted to get a second opinion though - as a Christian who is not (yet) Catholic, what parts of the mass can I participate in and what parts can I not?

Also, if you have any links/resources that further explain Catholic theology/beliefs and how an adult Christian would "become" a Catholic, I would appreciate them as well.

How can you say God really loves you and we are all his children, when the same god is telling us he has also created satan to set traps for us. Remember this folks, the god almighty can stop satan and show us the right way, but wont. But when we fall into the traps promises you an eternity of burning, fire, anguish, painful, misery and not to metion all the other things he will do to you. NOW DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THAT GOD REALLY LOVES YOU. last time i checked my mother would never set me up like that, and I know my Mother Loves me. What do you people think

Genesis 1:30 eat all green vegetation.
Leviticus 7:23,24,25, 26,27 You must not eat any blood or fat.
No matter how small the meat is it has blood and fat in it.
If we lived on vegetables and fruits and nuts and whole grains and maybe olive oil. Wouldn't we be healithier?
Without eating meat or fat?
I know I am not a vegetarian and I am thinking about how can I diet and actually lose weight and keep it off and I am trying to get siked up about it. HOping this will help. Tell me positive things to make me lose weight! Need help! Need to lose 20 pounds.

I'm thinking it should be large so that way when it passes under you nose you'll see how much more empty it looks and feel obligated to "fill it up."

Why must some of you answer questions in a hateful and demeaning manor. For example: A person asks for prayer and some of you answer God doesn't exist, why bother, etc. There is no need to even post things like that. If you don't believe in the Lord, leave the question alone. I have never been hateful, demeaning, or insulting to anyone on here, yet you feel you have the right to be that way towards me. We will never learn from one another with the attitudes in this section! And before you say it, yes there are some Christians on here that need a lesson in that too! Why is "black pride" mostly%75 all about insulting white people?I have been to quite a few "African American forums & websites online.It is mostly all about Insulting white people (especialy saying white women are very ugly).White people are holding us back,the white man has done this to usWhite people this,white people that,Our communities look that way cause of white people,one african american forum had a whole section about how ugly white people are.(especilly the women).i have been on the subway and was there why a black man shouted "i hate white people".That has happened more than four different times.yahoo answers also has many racist black folk.I work with pleasant black people at my job.But why are the others that way?We already know there are some racist racist white folk(and others as well)But why can't black pride be about Africa & black people?Serios Question,No racist remarks,God bless the world

For either believing or not believing in the trinity? Okay this is what I mean by this question trinitarian Christians believe that non trinitarian Christians will be going to hell for not believing in the trinity even though they may very well have accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. Non trinitarian Christians believe that trinitarian Christians will go to hell for accepting the doctrine of the trinity even though there might be those who truly did accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior which brings me back to my cover question of what's the point of accepting Christ if some believe that you will end up going to hell because of the whole trinity doctrine whether you believe in it or not? I'm confused by the whole thing. Which is more important accepting Christ as lord and savior or accepting or rejecting the doctrine of the trinity?

K, let me explain. I am going to the local high school, after a year of public school. Since I moved back out to Indiana I got refilled with the Holy Ghost and have been ON FIRE for God. Well I have a few friends there... but there, well without judging them, they steal sometimes for fun, and I mean they just go a little to far sometimes, I'm cool with egging houses and harmless pranks, but they also swear a lot and have sex. How can I witness to them, not look like a hypocrite, and still fit in with them at school? Usually when I hang out with them I fall and backslide. How can I separate myself but not Isolate myself, and how can I still fit in with them but be a witness?

I think thumbs down should be given when a person does not attempt to answer the question, is disrespectful, or obviously a troll.
