For either believing or not believing in the trinity? Okay this is what I mean by this question trinitarian Christians believe that non trinitarian Christians will be going to hell for not believing in the trinity even though they may very well have accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. Non trinitarian Christians believe that trinitarian Christians will go to hell for accepting the doctrine of the trinity even though there might be those who truly did accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior which brings me back to my cover question of what's the point of accepting Christ if some believe that you will end up going to hell because of the whole trinity doctrine whether you believe in it or not? I'm confused by the whole thing. Which is more important accepting Christ as lord and savior or accepting or rejecting the doctrine of the trinity?

The only way for someone to get into heaven is accepting the fact that Jesus is God's son sent down to earth to save us from our sins. When we repent and turn from our sins then we are saved and going to heaven. It doesn't matter if you believe that God The Holy Spirit and Jesus are the same person. All that matter is God's Son Jesus and knowing that He died for our sins.

I hope that helps. It probally doesn't but I tried!

I think that everyone believes that or at least most people but whats important is what you believe and what makes sense to you. Its more important to develop your thoughts on how you believe the Bible or whatever you believe because then you can find a church that follows the same beliefs it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks just your opinion counts and Gods depending on who you believe in. Also I think that if you would hate being in heaven with people that are always genuinely nice you will die in the end but if you would love it you will go to heaven because if it would be hell for you to go through heaven God wont take you there because he wants you to not suffer as much as a parent that has their child on life support has the choice to let them suffer or live with them if they would be happy that way.

Your question is somewhat confusing. How can you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and not ascribe deity to Him? If He were not God, He could be neither Lord or Savior. Can someone who has read the Scriptures deny the deity of the Father? And how could anyone who reads the Scriptures deny the Holy Spirit as deity as well? The Scriptures are quite plain, God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all part of the triune Godhead. To remove or deny the attribute of deity to one of these is to deny much of the Scriptural teaching concerning them.
The salvation process is not dependent on us. The Father draws us to Christ, the Spirit indwells us, and we recognize our depraved condition and need for a savior, that being, Christ.

For give those who have tress passed against you so that you may be forgiven of those you tress passed against. For give and for get..Go to the Lord and have Him guide you to what is right and wrong, He will lead you to your answer. Listen to His words they will guide you. Dose not matter what others think Only what God thinks about it. He is your savior, If you ask before you read His words . Lord give me" the wisdom to understand what it is I am reading and He will. To let you" understand. what it is you are to learn .God bless us all. For all some want to do is argue.Debate.When all you have to do is place all your effort in learning the wisdom Of Our Lord.If it is of good it is of God if it is of bad it is not of God.Place your trust and hope only in God for Man alone will conquer nothing, alone. But man and God can conquer all. God the Father God the Son and God the Holy spirit. the trinity:

The most important thing is having a personal relationship with God. To do this the first thing is to ask Christ into your life. People get so hung up on doctrines and forget the main thing and that is having Christ in your life.
Many Christians are far too judgemental and they push people away from God then draw them to Him.
We are to reflect the love of God to others and accept them as they are. It is important to find that middle ground and that is believing in Christ.

I believe you must accept Jesus as Lord and Savior . Anyway once you study Christology you will come to realize that accepting Jesus as Lord you have accept him as separate from the Father but equal because Lord is a sign of divinity. (see John 20:28) in the original Greek as being equal to the God, the Father. Anyway salvation is a gift and a grace from God and it is free even though God desires us to work on our salvation so believing in a creed is not as necessary as believing in God and accepting God in your life and the creed we come later .

personally I believe in the trinity but I think it is most important to believe that Christ is your personal savior and able to take care of all of your sins.

Following a particular sect NEVER guarantees you a place in Heaven. Remember its only good deeds that counts. You are free to choose any path.

rejecting the holy spirit is blasphemy unforgiven by God. Which will bring me to my next question that i will post. In the meantime no Christian can say who is going to hell its not their place.

Condemning others to Hell seems to make them feel superior. It shows those whom they are trying to convert how judgmental and hateful they truly are.

Go Tribe- we'll get them next year (sigh).
