See a good dietician..and do exercise a lot, eat a healthy breakfast which speeds up metabolism for the whole day. Genetics may be a factor you can't overcome but at least is worth trying. Muscle mass burns calories all day. The body needs carbs and proteins to function properly.
God's original plan was for people to be herbivores and there was no death from sin. Jesus ate fish in the Bible and there are other passages that show it's ok so there's no restriction on eating meat anymore. OT laws on what to eat were put in place for health considerations like not eating pork or other certain unclean animals.
There is other dietary info in the Bible regarding how bread is good for the heart...must be real bread, not the processed kind. And more.
Good luck..

Some people do. They are called Jews and muslims etc.

Sometimes when I go on a fast, I use what you've pointed out as a guide to reintroducing food to my body. I am a meat and potato kind of person, but there is nothing wrong with eating what you crave, feel keeps you healthy, or doing so for religious purposes. Some people have to follow a diet like that for non-religious reasons. It is personal preference, like everything else.

You will find that after the flood, God declared certain animals clean and available to eat.
This was part of the new earth after the flood, no longer would animals live in harmony with man, they would now fear him and he would now be allowed to eat certain ones declared clean.

Fast forward to the book of Acts, New Testament. Now all meat was declared good. This was part of the new covenent with Jesus Christ fulfilling all prophecy and the age of grace starting. Now all Gentiles as well as Jews would be allowed to be adopted into the seed of Abraham and become sons and daughters of God. Now all meat was declared clean and allowed to eat.

Fast forward to Revelations. When this age of grace is over and the tribulation has passed, all will come full circle and we will once again live in perfect harmony with God, and the animals, as the lion will lay down with the lamb and the beast of the wild shall be led by a child.
We will all be vegetarians once more, even the animals of the wild!

The Bible also says 'Judge not lest thee be judged yourself" but many Christians sort of ignore that passage. And "Love thy neighbor" and it says not to wear clothing of mixed fibers and to stone disobedient children.
