how would you put the preamble to the Declaration Of Independance into your own words? i dont understand what it means. can someone put it into words i can understand? thanks

Basically, it comes down to this. "The British are not giving the colonies any representation yet stealing lots of tax money to ship back to Britain. We are tired of it, and from now on are no longer British colonies. These are the reasons why we are declaring ourselves independent."

When events in the past have been like those we are facing now (in 1776,) people have had to throw out the governments they were a part of and take the responsibilities of government upon themselves, being a new government separate in power but equal in meaning to the old (ie: England has its government, and we have ours) because it's natural to for people to do that. However, rather than keep everyone in the dark about it, we feel we should tell everyone the REASON we are separating into a new government:"

When things just don't work out between the people and the government, it's necessary to break apart, common sense would say that the people should give reasons for their separation

It means basically:

We are pissed off with the bloody British micro-managing our lives.


As a Damn Limey, I really do not blame them. It is like the British government was demonstrating the best way to really annoy a colony.

Recently some stuff happened to some people, so they needed to cut off the other people they were associated with and to become independent by themselves like every other group of people who are independent so that they get respected and treated equally as them like god wants them too.

from time to time it becomes neccesary for one group to break political bonds with another and to hope that god and other countrys will support them with their effort and with their reasons for breaking the bonds

Sometimes ya just gotta do what's right even when the higher governmental authorities forbid it. When the government restricts your God-given rights, it's time to leave.

It simply means to Stand on Gods word and not mans.....and if His Word is trying to be turned..then to seperate yourself from the political groups which err in their opinions.....Always go back to the foundation it was all founded on and thats THE WORD OF GOD !!!
