I am not trying to preach, I assure you. But I'm just curious about this. If you think that God is in control of / plans / ordains all things, does He do that for all things *except* for who comes to Christ? Without believing in open theism, which is flat out against scripture, in my opinion, how does one get around the doctrine of election (not to mention the fact that the Bible mentions it, well, kind of a lot?)

Also, God did choose Israel. If He does that with nations, is that different than how He structures His relationship with individuals? Just curious as to what you all think.

I would like to get mainly an answer from life experienced People which may traveled the World a little and understand exactly how serious my Question is!
A simple Yes or No; on each of the 3 points will do!

1) Is it wrong to kill Evil and the people using it? Yes/No
2) Is it wrong to kill your self? Yes/No
3) Is it wrong to protect & fight for what is Right? Yes/No

You may be able to see; that I put a lot of thinking into the way I ask these questions!

Please don’t interpret the word “Right”; the Humans I am asking know the meaning!

Confirmation is what makes people strong in there minds and act with confidence!

I am a person who likes to plan, or help plan, my own party's- birthdays, my wedding shower, etc. Leaving it up to other people is hard for me, so I was wondering: is it okay to help plan my baby shower? If not, do you think the host of the baby shower should ask me what type of "theme," or food I would like served?

It's title is something like "It's Christmas in San Francisco" (the artist also sells a similar sounding song referring to Las Vegas and another one referring to San Diego). It has a country western feel and has a line "I don't remember the Bible mentioning snow in Bethlehem" or something like that. I tried yahooing for the song, but just got a whole bunch of travel and vacation packages for SF.

While browsing today at Borders, a man walked up to me, and introduced himself to me as a 'Ghandian'. He was visiting from India, and wearing homegrown, homespun, and hand loomed cotton clothing. He was visiting the U.S. with his family, and was very friendly and congenial, as was his family. I had never heard Ghandi's followers called by that term. Any comments?

Long story short... suffering with severe anxiety starting 7 years ago... took a few meds here and there but made me worse... began to improve after a few years... doing ok until I moved my family in about 4 months ago. Now I am having serious anxiety attacks again and I'm suppose to see the dentist next week for a root canal however I don't know how I can even stand to sit there at all...even medicated. I know this sounds demanding but all I want today is prayer. Prayer for me to have courage and stand through this. I contimplate death all the time now. My life is as big as your house.... walls and windows. I live in a glass bowl... I see outside but I don't know what it feels like. A trip to the store for me is like you going somewhere you have never been and don't know where it goes on an entirely different planet. It's quite scary and that doesn't even describe it. I'm sitting here now in serious pain and asking God to help me. Can you please pray for me. I don't want to live

started about a month ago as a cashier, the manager and my co-workers are so mean to me. When I take a order wrong, give the wrong change, or something that should be expected from a new worker, the manager gets really mad and gives me a lot of attitude. It feels like all my co-workers and managers hate me because I make mistakes. A co-worker keeps telling me that the manager keeps saying I am not good at the job. Also the co-worker is very rude to me, she kept yelling at me for everything and she tells on me on the manager when I make a mistake. She is also rude to the customers, when I customer asked to clearify what he recieved she screamed, "I don't know!!". This co-worker is 40 something years old and she rubs it in my face that she knows more about being a cashier. She told me today, "I THINK YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!" I broke down and cried infront of a customer because of all that. She didn't care that i was crying but made me continue my work, with tears down my face.

indians discriminate against each other based on pretty much any available criteria race, religion, caste, community language,dressing style, region, sex,culture, food....anything we can think of. , why is it that we are so well integrated but still segregated on invisible lines.




we pride ourself on being multi ethnic and multi racial but at the same time many (esp in the villages) are brought up in they're own comfort zones. im happy that my generation is breaking many of the barriers but the north easterns are still isolated because of they're indo-chinese (mongoloid features)

I have a few questions about this subject,

1. Is the antichrist gonna be a political figure?

2. What kind of career: leader of the European Commission or the United Nations maybe?

3. Can the antichrist be a woman too?

4. Does the antichrist have a wife or husband?

5. Can the antichrist be a christian too?

6. And what about the people who support this leader but dont know that he/she is the antichrist, are they going too hell?

7. Is the antichrist gonna rise now! because we are maybe going to have WWIII with Iran?

Is KNOWING even possible? People cannot be 100% sure of anything, end of story. How can someone practice their religion if they only believe that they are right yet don't hold absolute knowledge?

The reason why I'm asking this is because I am skeptical of everything; believing does not come easy for me, and I suffer because of it.
