By the way, I tried this in the entertainment section first and no one answered. I've seen Monty Python discussed here before, and lots of people answered. I assumed it was OK to put it here if it got more answers (which it has by far)

Note for whoever reviews violation reports.
This is no violation. Monty Python's Flying Circus made several movies that dealt quite explicitly with some of the fallacies of organized religion.

Can't quote it, but this section often makes me think of the bit where the mob argues about whether to follow the way of the gourd or the sandal.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

Cardinal Ximenez has a surprising number of disciples on the site, too.

'Tis but a flesh wound! I've had worse!

(I work on a production line, and occasionally get knicks and scratches. I use the above with great hilarity whenever someone asks me if I'm all right after a scratch happens.)

Since the Spanish Inquisition has already been taken, I'll go with:

-- Is this the right room for an argument?
-- I told you once.

-What... is your name?
It is Author King of the Britons
-What.... is your quest?
To Seek the Holy Grail
-What.... is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
What do you mean? An African or European swallow?
-What I... I don't know that?! AHHHHHHHHHH

How do you know so much about swallows?
You have to know these things when you are a king, you know.

I have to pick just one?

Well, Toad The Wet Sprocket is also my favorite band, so I guess that settles it by default.

But I'll ultimately have to go with the song "The Tale of Brave Sir Robin."
