Hubby has an ugly old truck that he just uses for occasional errand runs. His tags expired last month. At our apartment complex there is space for 1 car, and the other has to have a street parking permit. Now, wherever I have lived, if you have a vehicle on the street, it needs to have current tags whether the thing is used or not. I suggested that he put the truck in the parking spot and I would transfer the parking sticker and put my car in the street. I wanted him to do this until he had the time and money to get his new tags.

Imagine his surprise when he got ticketed for having an unregistered vehicle! He swears he has never heard of any such law, and when he called the ticket office the woman he spoke to said she had never heard it either.

Since I know these laws exist, I'm not wasting my time looking up the law to prove my case. Do you agree that such laws exist? If you have a motor vehicle, the tags need to be current if the vehicle is parked on the street. Yes?

I was taught by my parents never to curse, use the lord's name in vain, pray every night, don't wear anything past mid thigh and don't expose yr stomach, yet so many people do that. What were you taught?

Because...hi.

(Notice I didn't single out any particular group. Jinenglish said he's received almost 10 violation notices today alone).

So go ahead and report. Removing an answer doesn't change an opinion. More often than not, it only reinforces it.

Today the SPIRIT of the LORD came over and I was struck by His POWER and REVELED in His NAME, Hallelughah! I wrote this poem so that you God-lovers could ALL share in my experience vicariously!

I'd love to know what you think for you are INDEED the people of the LORD! Please keep your comments complimentary and criticism-free. You know you want more. You know you want it.

I woke up this morning
With my gland all a'tingle
And down from the heavens came
The LORD's mighty dingle!

I sang and rejoiced
And ran into His arms
From there the Lord lifted me
Up by his palms

"Live long & proper!" said He
With an air of romance
"Or else I'll strip you
Of your wife, work, and pants!"

Flailing and talking in tongues
I was, all aglow in his light
"Except for the gays & Pagans & Catholics
To all a very good night!"

It was... it was like CHRISTMAS!! Here's hoping the love of GOD will embrace you & yours with love this year!

(unless you're an abomination).

Hallelughah!

They seem to be more exclusive and elite than U.S. yacht clubs. If you aren't one of them, they treat you like a piece of trash and consider you as nothing more than BBQ meat for hell.

Do you think they will ever show love to others, such as wiccans, buddhists, hindus, or even the real christians known as catholics?

My pastor says to not listen to you anymore! I'm inclined to agree with him!

I don't know about any of that fancy talk you people use! I just know I believe, and I'm personally sorry that you hate freedom and our troops!

I recently heard Christianity maligned as a "doomsday cult". I disagree, of course.

Unfortunately, this label applies if Christians are anticipating the "end of the world" in our time.

Having studied the Bible, I have concluded that we're nearing the end of the AGE, but not the end of the 'world'.

Numerous prophecy fulfillments occurred at the end of the age appointed to the Jews, including their eviction from the land of promise and the destruction of the temple in 70AD.

The first age ended with the destruction of Nimrod's tower and the scattering of the people, the second age ended with the destruction of the Jewish temple and the scattering of the Jews, and this third age will end with the destruction of Mystery Babylon and the re-gathering of Christians at 'the last trump' and the final age (the Kingdom Age) will end with the destruction of the heavens and the earth, the defeat and ultimate disposition of Satan into the Lake of Fire and the final judgment. just for yourself, or eat whatever is handy? Eating what you want when you want it is part of the fun of being single, as is not eating if you just don't feel like it. Do you "insist" on having a full dinner each evening if you're all by yourself, or just grab a snack?

Women help men out with work. They help keep the house clean and their Love cant be matched for the kids. They are treasure to be around with and on top of it all God made them so pretty. They are emotional partners. They are real care givers. They are so soft and gentle and all they ask for in return is Love. When was the last time you hugged and thanked your woman for who she is?

He was this little bitty guy with a big ego and he was cross-stitching 666 in red letters on all my socks.

Anyway, I think I accidentally stepped on him. Does that screw up the whole apocalypse/Revelation thing for the Christians?

And…

How do I get the goo out of the tread of my running shoes?

Are they afraid that if they do not say it, the people will not vote for them? Or do you think they really believe that God cares more for the United States than he does the rest of the world.

The old black clunky typewriters?
Selectric typewriters (would you believe we have 3 in our office?!)
The original fax machines where you could watch the ink spray on the paper?
The old mimeograph machines?
Cash registers that didn't automatically compute change?
Carbon paper?
Rotary phones?

What else can you add?

How do I let her know with a loving tone that she will burn forever and ever along with her atheist family if she doesn't accept Jesus loving gesture on the cross?

My church loves everyone, so much that we don't want to see our friends and family burned crispy by our all loving and powerful God who doesn't make mistakes.

She is a very good woman. A little overweight, but a very nice person. She just needs the gospel. How should I let her in on God's word?
