Hello, Cleopatra:
Interesting question, Cleopatra, because there is a major church denomination that has inserted into Genesis that it is necessary for Adam and Eve to sin so they could procreate and have Children.
However, no Bible manscript, including those from the Dead Sea Schrolls suggests such a thing.
Instead, during creation week God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful, multiply, and fill up the earth.
It was not God's plan that sin and woe would come on this planet. However, He certainly knew that would probably happen.
That is why He created Adam's wife from the wound in his side. That was a shadow of the Remedy, Jesus, should Adam sin.
4000 years later in history Jesus received His bride (the church) through the blood He spilled from His corpse on Calvary.
Let me ask you a question, Cleopatra. Do you know any parent that plans on having a baby with the intent that they will prostitute themselves in order to have children. I hope not, althoug Satan can cause such things.
No, God is LOVE, and grieves over His erring children, hoping that everyone would be saved, but accepting as many as will appreciate His great Sacrifice, Jesus.
I saw a statue in the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. It had an alter with vegetables on it, with the lamb on the ground. That is a perversion of God's original plan for man, He said to not sin or you will certainly die.
Blessings and shalom, Ben Yeshua

Yes, in the Genesis account, God told Adam and Eve to "be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth." They were designed male and female, so they were fully equipped to carry out their assignment.

Infants have primary sexual characteristics. They have to reach maturity before it matters. Adam and Eve were created with the potential to be parents, they didn't understand until their eyes were open.

Yes, He was. That's why Eve's punishment was that she would suffer pain in childbirth. If she had not sinned she (and all womankind)would not have had to endure labour pains.
