How strong is your disbelief ? How far would you defend your lack of faith? Just curious

For the record, I’m more curious than anything. I’m not even all that faithful myself.

The thing about it is, everybody is made to worship something, and whether or not you call it the One true God, it still makes it a God. So why do they say they don't believe in God, when they prolly worship something, and they believe in it? What u worship is your God. So they can't tell me they don't worship ne thing, because when u over obsess about something, that's worshiping it.

Please read it all before answering...

At what moment do you become an atheist...when you feel that there's no god or when you decied to give yourself the title of atheist? Cuz I'm an atheist and some say they didn't choose to be atheist, they just felt inside that there wasn't a god. But a lot of people feel that there's no god but still choose to believe it anyway. I feel like you can't be FORCED to not believe in a god, even if the evidence points to no god...I think it's a choice, so you become atheist when you confirm it in your mind, not when you have the feelings. Right???

TSA: (Sikh) Turbans Don't Have to Be Removed

Air passengers will no longer have to remove bulky headwear such as turbans at screening checkpoints if doing so makes them uncomfortable.

In August, the Transportation Security Administration changed its guidelines and subjected travelers to secondary screening at security checkpoints if they were wearing head coverings, such as cowboy hats, berets or turbans. The screenings could have included a pat-down search of the head covering, if the screener found it necessary.

But some religious organizations were outraged at the new rule and felt it was a form of racial profiling. For instance, in the Sikh religion, the turban is considered private, and removing a turban would be like removing a woman's blouse, according to the New York-based Sikh Coalition. Since 2001, federal policy has required screeners to search turbans only if they do not clear a metal detector.

...seeking attention, or lacking knowledge?

On my last question, these were the reasons given by former atheists (now believers in God) for why they were originally atheists.

I can honestly say that none of the above reasons are why I stopped believing.

What about you?

there is something that Atheists don't understnad "the Holy Spirit". Last wednesday I was in church and I was worshipping God, and suddenly i started to cry! O.k it wasn't because I just wanted to cry! i felt the Holy Spirit and he made me cry of Joy! that feeling is something that you will experienced if you have the conviction that God is real!

on the other hand the Atheists have never and will never experienced The touch of the Holy spirit if they keep on thinking that God is not real!

so How can you Go against my experience! you can't tell me that';s not real! I don't care for I sure it's was true!, I know that the Presence of God is true, and that's something Atheist's can't experience!

God is like the air you can feel it, but you can see it! prove me wrong!

Matt. 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in
heaven is perfect.

You should strive to be perfect. The word perfect in this scripture is
referring to a state of being that consist of growing into complete
maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper
height of virtue and integrity. Not meaning that you won't ever error or
make mistakes, but it's the mindset of losing yourself for the sake of
Christ and your will, being secondary to his. Once you lose your own
will, there is room for his perfect will. This causes you to behave,
think, and act "perfect" in the sight of God and keeps you from constantly
disappointing yourself and God with childish, selfish actions.
Understand people of God, we are living in a selfish era. Many pastors have
erred from the faith and falling away to their own selfish motives. They
want to build monumental buildings and live lavish lifestyles to model
the so called successes of the world. Do you know what this does? Once
their selfish ambitions are reached and publicized through promotion and
the media, the people under them, that are insecure or have personal
affirmation issues, will seek to accomplish what they see them
accomplishing and it causes the body of Christ to seek selfish ambitions rather
than the perfection of God

Okay, let's give this a whirl:

Catholics: Can you please identify yourself as "Catholic" and say something nice about our protestant brothers and sisters in Christ?

Protestants: Can you please identify yourself as "Protestant" and say something nice about your Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ?

I will go first: I respect how protestants spend so much time reading their Bibles. Many Catholics could learn a lesson from that. I also respect how protestants spend so much extra time at church functions on weekdays, and are very friendly if a newcomer comes in. Many Catholics could learn a lesson from that too.

Okay: Who is next?

I mean, when we have the freedom to decide whether and when to give birth, do you want to take that from us?

When we want the freedom to commit our lives to whoever we fall in love with, do you try to stop us?

When we have the freedom to raise our children without a belief in god, or with a belief in a different God, do you try object?

Who really "hates our freedom"?
