The thing about it is, everybody is made to worship something, and whether or not you call it the One true God, it still makes it a God. So why do they say they don't believe in God, when they prolly worship something, and they believe in it? What u worship is your God. So they can't tell me they don't worship ne thing, because when u over obsess about something, that's worshiping it.

Actually many of us do believe in the Christian God - but we simply don't worship him, for a number of reasons. We do have our own gods - some of us believe in them literally, others only view them as symbols.

Some of us might disagree with the word worship, preferring something like "honor" to describe the different dynamic.

Pagans are a community of faiths bringing ancient Pagan and magickal traditions to the modern age--including mostly Wicca but also Druidism, Asatru, Shamanism, neo-Native American, and more. Neo-Pagan is an umbrella term for various and diverse beliefs with many elements in common. Some Neo-Pagans find no incongruence practicing Neo-Paganism along with adherence to another faith, such as Christianity or Judaism.
Some believe in a Supreme Being. Many believe in God and Goddess--a duality. Many believe there are countless spirit beings, gods and goddesses, in the cosmos and within all of nature--God is all and within all; all are one God. The Great Mother Earth, or Mother Nature, is highly worshipped. Divinity is immanent and may become manifest within anyone at any time through various methods

I wish to correct you, everyone is NOT made to worship something, it is programmed into us as young children to worship either God or Allah or Buddha. Our family background and parents are the ones who set up our belief systems at a very early age, such as christenings. During the course of our life we decide whether we wish to continue on the paths our parents set us on or to change our beliefs. For myself, I was raised Protestant and am now a Witch and Craft clergy. I chose my path. I don't say that I don't believe in God, it's just not part of my chosen path. Wiccans, Pagans and Witches do have a god like figure, but we also balance it out with a Goddess as well. Only we feel the Goddess is the one who is in charge, so to speak. She is ever present and continuing, the God is the one who dies and is reborn and the consort of the Goddess.

Everyone has their own set of beliefs, even the different religions have different bibles or belief systems they follow. For instance, the LDS have the Book of Mormon. Some bibles are written differently than those of the Catholic faith. The sad thing is that the actual true bible is nothing like it is today. There have been so many misquoted passages in the newer editions that it makes one's head swim. If you truly wish to read the bible and understand what is being said, I suggest you read the Gnostic Bible. It makes a lot of sense.

First, obsessing over something is NOT worship. I do not obsess over my gods, and obsessive stalkers do not worship their targets.

Second, you're not understanding ther difference between a god and God. When you capitalize it you're speaking of a specific deity who answers to that name. The Christian god is God. When you don't capitalize it, you're talking about gods in general. There are gods that I believe in, but they have their own names. The gods I believe in are not God.

Most pagans I know believe in a goddess, sometimes a dyad of a god and a goddess.

Some people *waves* don't worship anything at all.

Pagans generally have more than one "god" that they worship- get some books at the library about the subject if you want to learn more.

Imagine if you were born, and no one told you about God. Would you believe? How could you believe...

I worship nothing. Obsessions is not worship, it is desire.

I worship myself. Paganism is more based around spirituality rather than worshiping something or someone.
I don't believe in worshiping anyone but myself and Johnny Depp.
