I mean, when we have the freedom to decide whether and when to give birth, do you want to take that from us?
When we want the freedom to commit our lives to whoever we fall in love with, do you try to stop us?
When we have the freedom to raise our children without a belief in god, or with a belief in a different God, do you try object?
Who really "hates our freedom"?

We have the freedom to arm ourselves to stop a criminal breaking into our homes, do you want to take that from us? (No. Although I object to you needing 40 rounds to stop the break-in and would like to limit access to semi-automatic weaponry like the one used at Virginia Tech.)
We have the freedom start and run a business and make it succeed without the government taxing it into bankruptcy, do you want to take that from us? (I'm sorry... what was the national debt 7 years ago? And what is it now? I'm all for not being taxed to death, but unfortunately the current administration doesn't seem to be on the same page as you and I on this one.)
We have the freedom to eat tasty animals, do you want to take that away? (Not at all. I might suggest that you be a little more humane in the way you treat your food as it grows into the tasty animal you want to eat, but go on, eat all you want. It's your karma, not mine.)
Do you really hate our freedom?

Religions has never been about freedom, and the current hype around Christianity being the cause of it is completely wrong.

All governemts want is consuming, follow what they say citizens, who pay the most possible taxes and have no rights whatsoever!
What people want is to do as they like, have the minimum of restrictions, the least taxes, and have all the rights . Democracy is supposed to be for the people. Forgive my ROFL
Clearly there has to be a just balance somewhere. However, its well known that 80% of the wealth is in the hands on 20% of the people and that 80% of the power similarly.
So some % that have both are actually dictating what happens, lets say 5%. This means that 1% of the population is deciding what happens to the other 99%. They want total control, and thus no freedoms. So they want to take all freedoms away.
The so called war on terrorism gave them a good excuse. How many freedoms did you lose because of it? Apart from the problems this may cause personally, there is another great danger underlying it. If somebody wants to take over the world, they only have to gain the majority of support from that 1% and they will suceed.
That is basically Satans Plan and it is succeding. If you dont want to find yourelf in that situation, then react now. Tomorrow will be too late!

Assuming you are an American,
- You do not have freedom to have any abortion any time you choose.
- You do not have the freedom to love any person you choose if they happen to be of the same gender as you,
- you do not have the freedom to earn a living and to not be taxed,
- you do not have the freedom to say what you think to anyone, or you may be charged with a 'thought" cime,
- you do not have the freedom to read any book from the library without the government being told
- You do not have the freedom to drive a battery or electric powered car (because big business says you MUST use oil)
- you do not have the freedom to walk around naked in your own front garden
- you do not have the freedom to educate your child however you see fit. (home schooling is being attacked a lot these days)
You are no longer a country of freedoms.
I don't hate you, I hate Bush, but I pity you.

Who is "you" and who is "our"? I don't know whom you are talking about and to. Freedom is a word that implies a lot of meanings. Freedom shouldn't be taken as rights or responsibilities. They are different things with different meanings and one can't shock with the other, I am sure you agree with me.
For example, you have all the freedom to decide if you want a baby or not and there are several anti-pregnancy methods. No problem!! However, once you get pregnant, you have to make the decision not only for yourself (the mother), but for the father and the baby. I am not pro-choice, I am pro-life, but this is me (and several other people). The choice you have is in your hands prior to conceive. After conceiving is not ONLY in your hands anymore. You have a lot of issues here, your own health, the trauma itself (don't think it is any funny to go through abortion), and you have to consider the emotional and psychological preassure before making such a crucial decision. Ultimately, there is the spiritual issue. I can explain to you what happens to the spirit of an unborn baby, if you want to know...
Falling in love is beautiful, I don't think anyone can stop it from happening. It is absolutely between the two involved, unless one is married, then you would be in trouble, that's all.
As far as I know, we all have the freedom and the right to raise our children under the religion and/or belief we choose.
Who hates your freedom? I don't.
Peace!

Some freedoms affect only yourself, while other "freedoms" cause others to be damaged and hurt. If I want to have the freedom to drive my car into your living room and smash your furniture and then go home, you can see that my freedom is really your abuse.
When I want to have the freedom to kill an unborn child and take away that child's right to life, then I am an abuser, not a freedom seeker. If I want to raise my child in my beliefs, THAT is MY RIGHT and so is YOURS. It just does not matter what your faith is or if you do not have a faith.
However, if you want to undress me or take away the head scarf of my wife or sister, that is really encroaching on my freedom. If you are in some remote part of Africa, where the women do not have any clothing for their breasts, you would not allow them to remove your blouse or clothing that covers your breasts if you are a female. Similarly if they want to come to New York half clad, you would not allow them the "freedom" to live in a manner they were used to living in their home country.
No reasonable person can hate anyone's freedoms unless they are imposed unreasonably on someone. Is it your right to force a tribal woman to cover her breasts or some aborigine from Australia to come completely naked in front of your children and family? What right do you have to impose your restraints on that person's freedoms?
Everything has more than one way of looking at it. I hope I am making sense to you.

I don't have a problem with people falling in love with whoever ... who does?
And while I don't agree with raising children without Faith, or believing in a different God, you do have free will and they are your children.
As to 'whether and when to give birth,' I assume you mean abortion. Different people have different views on it, some people say the baby is not 'alive' yet, but I see it as no different then murdering a baby who has been born. If you don't want to have a baby, don't have intercourse or take birth control pills or something like that which doesn't involve killing.

It's a woman's job to give her husband children otherwise there's no point in getting married. Plus marriage protects people from doing sex outside of marriage with random people and spreading AIDS and HIV to the public. I don't agree with people in America having loaded guns in their houses and shooting everyone who steps on their yard just because they don't want people trespassing. What if a woman was raped and was running from her rapist or a child was running from his or her abusive father or mother or kidnapper, or a woman who was beaten daily by her husband came with her kids and ran onto your yard for help? Would you go and shoot the woman because she stepped onto your yard? People in America need to think and not use violence for everything they don't agree with. We should take lessons from Canada. How can you not believe in God? The proof is all around you. Who do you think made the world? Who do you think gave you children and put you here on this Earth? I don't hate all of America's freedoms. I hate America's idea of liberation for women and the fact that America is the wealthiest nation in the world yet we can't help the poor people in our country and we have teenagers going out and making babies out of wedlock and how more women are choosing to not get married and stay home with their children to raise them. I hate how the living in America is expensive and how it forces women to work outside the home. I hate how we have so many crimes in the USA and don't do anything about them yet America wants to play world police and force democracy on every other "devil" country in the world who isn't like the USA.

In fundamentalist christianity there is no freedom. You either accept the doctrine or you are condemmed. Many other religions are like this but not all of them.

Ummm, falling in love(law) is a fall: Galatians 5.
Risen with Christ, unto God, is a rise, not a fall.
Hmmm, if Baby-lon is twice fallen: is fallen, is fallen;
Then reconciled unto God would be as twice risen.
Americans say they are free, butt...
but upon visiting America, I learned they could not even:
- visit a neighbor called Cuba without POTUS permission
- smoke a Cuban cigar in Canada without severe penalty
If this is 'freedom', well, none for me thanks. I'll take Grace.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
