Paschals Wager, I wager

You can be a Buddhist and believe in reincarnation.

Look believing in the afterlife is the wrong reason to believe in a religion. I'm a Christian because I like the philosophy espoused and the way that it is expressed. But also I believe in other things then just those espoused by the Bible Like if Jesus was the Son of God sent to Earth the live as man then he, in 34 years of life could have married had sex and children why because that's the God I believe in.

The Afterlife never enters into my beliefs. That is just a reward that I'm told is awaiting me.

There has never been any credible evidence to demonstrate the existence of any distinct entity within a person that might be called a "soul." Neither has there been any credible evidence to demonstrate that such a thing as a "soul" or anything else of a person continues to exist after death. You should free yourself from the ridiculous superstitions and primitive dogmas that make up religion.

Now stand up, and say aloud:
There is no god,
There is no Jesus,
There is no holy spirit,
There is no soul,
There is no afterlife,
and I feel fine.

The only thing you have to lose by losing your religion is your own ignorance. Free your mind. Use your mind. Think. The world needs more intelligent, rational people to solve the crises that humanity faces.

No. A Hindu. Its the oldest religion so has the best claim to revealing truth of any afterlife. Christianity would be a very poor choice - much younger (only Islam is younger still), less reliable and disputed.

There is an afterlife, God is real, and Jesus really did die on the cross for our sins. Those facts will never change. Choosing not to believe won't change those facts. God is still there. It's just a matter of whether you (and everyone else) chooses to believe in Him or not.

There's an afterlife. If you believe nothing else, Jesus is the Christ, Son of God Messiah who died for you and rose again! This is fact. No debate or denial, or He will deny you. End of sermon.

Hold on my brother who is a devout christian believes anyone who prescribes to this theory is going to hell. You can not get forgiveness from god under the circumstances "Just In Case" because you do not truly believe. You are a christian out of fear only. What you need is faith not fear.

Hell no.

There are two many disadvantages to having such nonsense ruling your life. How about you bet that the world is a fair and just place and not run by an evil bloodthirsty tyrant in the sky that torments otherwise decent people for all eternity simply because they don't believe something.

You should rub every lamp to come to just in case there is a lamp genie who would grant you three wishes. Lamp Genies are far more likely to exist than Gods are.

Hey! How're you doing Pascal?

Don't you think that an all-powerful diety could see through a ploy like that? Better to stick with honest disbelief.
