there is something that Atheists don't understnad "the Holy Spirit". Last wednesday I was in church and I was worshipping God, and suddenly i started to cry! O.k it wasn't because I just wanted to cry! i felt the Holy Spirit and he made me cry of Joy! that feeling is something that you will experienced if you have the conviction that God is real!

on the other hand the Atheists have never and will never experienced The touch of the Holy spirit if they keep on thinking that God is not real!

so How can you Go against my experience! you can't tell me that';s not real! I don't care for I sure it's was true!, I know that the Presence of God is true, and that's something Atheist's can't experience!

God is like the air you can feel it, but you can see it! prove me wrong!

LOL

You're joking, right? I don't know if you're trying to make fun of religious views or not but this really made me laugh.

Lots of people have experienced various different gods, people swear blind they've been dancing with the fairies or been abducted by aliens. Drunk people can see pink elephants. Are you sure your mental state when you were obviously very upset is the best 'evidence' of a supernatural creator of the universe existing? I'm afraid I'm not convinced.

I used to think I felt God in exactly the same way.

What I later realized is that my ego required the existence of God to support my belief that I was unique and that my life had meaning. I needed it so badly, that I tricked my body into releasing endorphins while in worship services, that created a few 'unexplained' behaviors. Crying, laughing, tingling, warmth.

They are all a result of a chemical release in the brain.

I know it seems unnatural, but think about how your body reacts to fright. You perceive danger, that might not even be there, and as a result the brain releases chemicals that speed up the heart, constrict blood vessels and prepare your muscles for explosive action.

If you ever take MDMA or Ecstasy, you will experience the exact same feeling that you get in a really good worship service.

Nope.
People start to cry all the time. It only shows me that you were in a delicate mental state at the time!

I can't prove you wrong. Only you can do that! It's nice that you're happy though of course. I wouldn't want you to be an atheist if the only way you could be happy was becuase of your faith in something that has never physically affected any part of your life!!

Maybe you started to cry because you realized that while you're a christian you will never be able to come out of the closet and live the way you want to live...... god made the rainbow just for you.

If I tell you that I can see spirits, would you believe me? You cannot go against my experience, you can't tell me that it isn't real! And don't tell me it's demons, please! You have your beliefs and I have mine. I glad if your experience made you happy, but why try to turn it into an argument? Is that Christ-like?

My husband decided to become a child of God last Sunday and I felt a feeling so strong when it happened! And I too cried because I was so happy. I just couldnt hold it in!
I am still learning about God and Jesus and I am trying really hard to understand some things. Some things dont make sense to me and probably never will but I cannot deny feeling His presence.

As a Christian I would definitely believe you. The presence of God in our lives is very real and very powerful. I cannot imagine how empty those without His Holy Spirit indwelling them must feel. I personally could not endure one minute without the presence of God in every aspect of my life. He is my life.

Without corroboration, any experience of a single individual is meaningless.

People often mistake their subconscious mind for their soul, and often mistake their left brain hemisphere for God aka "visitor experience."
