to do what you do in secular society (if it translates) for your church? (Im not necessarily talking about anything drastic like 100K to 20K, just...less than what you make now)

LOB- I agree. I cant help but wonder, if we know that God is Jehovah Jireh (our provider) and we do sacrifice to advance the work of the Kingdom, shouldnt we also believe that He would honor our sacrifice through provision?

Yes, I'd consider it.

If the cut in pay could benefit my church without hurting my families well being, then I would consider it. If this would directly hurt my family in any way it would simply be no! I have always taught these priorities to my family and firmly believe they are correct.
1. God
2. Family
3. Vocation
4. Church

yes, but the cut in pay would be so drastic that I'd need to work a second job just to become poor.

If I felt the Lord leading me to do so I would. Doing what pleases Him is very fulfilling!! Very!!
