They seem to be more exclusive and elite than U.S. yacht clubs. If you aren't one of them, they treat you like a piece of trash and consider you as nothing more than BBQ meat for hell.
Do you think they will ever show love to others, such as wiccans, buddhists, hindus, or even the real christians known as catholics?

Just to clear up some ignorance:
It is not unloving of me to ask if you think a certain group of people will ever show love and acceptance towards those who are different. It is a sincere question that deserves an answer.
I personally can't believe how they tell me I am going to burn in hell just because my beliefs are not exactly the same.

Fish, what does that have to do with anything? Besides, why would you want to participate in something you don't believe in?

I don't think their behavior towards those who believe differently is ever going to change. You see, we sinners could end up standing in the way, between them and Heaven. It's better that they don't befriend us...that way we can't possibly interfere with their eternal salvation. Besides, who wants to hang around with people who are going to be roasting in hell?
Edit: I tried having "hug-a-fundie" day a while back, but even that didn't seem to stir any loving feelings within them. :-)

I'm not a "Bible Fundie" and I have had my religion bashed by them. But you seem to be showing less love for them than they do for people of other faiths. And, by the way, not all of them are like that. You can't judge the multitude of them based on the actions of the few that you've met.

LOL I love the generalizations? Did you attend my Church's last motorcycle rally? Or one of our outreach programs at the Park where we offer no preaching just free food, boat rides, and Kayak racing? It seems that it's easy for folks that have not been exposed to the "real" Christian to group us all together. Thank The Lord that stereotyping is only a Christian trait.

It is so unfair of you to lump all "fundies' together.
I am not a fundamentalist, but don't you see how unfair you are to generalize like this?
You have not met every fundamentalist in the world, so you cannot say they all treat you like trash.
You're being racist by lumping them all together.

sounds like you should practice what you preach. i don't hate anyone, and i'm christian. i try to help all people and love all people, i do stand up for my god when necessary, because it offends me when i hear others trash him, and i have every right to speak up. and i pray for those that i believe are lost, because i don't want any to go to hell, i don't consider them bbq for hell. i truly believe what the bible says about those who wont accept god, and i pray for them every day, because i love them and want to see them make it to heaven, why is that so wrong? god bless.

PLEASE do NOT lump all Christians into the same catagory.........We are exclucive, but not by man but by God...... we belong to HIM and ONLY him.......I and other Christians, invite ALL to join the FAMILY !!! we , most of us, show love all the time.... How would you like us to show it ?? go from door to door giving out hugs ?? then we would be accused of *bugging* you ........ Our JOB is to spread the word, if YOU and others do not want to hear it, then I suggest you stay AWAY from places where it can be heard or seen........When a Christian comes to your door, all you have to do is tell them NO, shut the door, that simple......And may I suggest you look how many fingers are pointing back at you while your pointing the finger at others !!!!!! go in peace....... God bless

Last time I went to worship in a Catholic church I was excluded from participating in the Lord's supper because I was not "one of them." How does that show love?

It's the worst ones (like Phelps) that get all the press. I don't see eye-to-eye with fundamentalists on religious issues, but they aren't all the same.
