couldn't god just be an invisible magical entity that is concerned with the fate of humanity? and why does God need to create the universe?

I'm curious, because a common argument is that the Bible was translated and thus unworthy of being infallible. I read English mostly and could not have read the original text. Does that make my copy of the Qur'an evil?

Today I got definitive proof.

Two days ago, I was in Target and as usual I was looking in the clearance section. As you may know, Target is funny and has clearance in all departments. It just so happens I was looking at the candy. Sometimes you can find chocolate with cinnamon, which I love. It's so hard to find though I usually give up.

Anyway, when I was at the checkout I saw that they the chocolate covered Altoids for $1.79 when they are regularly $2.99, I figured it was just as well.

I've had a few since I purchased them and thought they tasted funny. And I guessed that was why they were so cheap.

I had to write because not only are the Altoids Chocolate covered Cinnamon but they were on sale.

Now you tell me there's no GOD.

I love God and He is my #1 lover. However,I am an orphan and have a close relative living with me.I love him too. In June 2006 during meditation I travelled to a new locale 'in the spirit';and later transferred there.It is serious hardship-without a bank,department stores etc.;yet it is beautiful.The relative and I love it.But,a resident threatened his life.It was reported;but he has been told not to expect any satisfaction because the chief witness does not want to become involved.From the way things look now, it seems as if I am in a dilemma- caught between two lovers. I want to obey God and do His will.On the other hand,I am not prepared to stay here if my orphaned relative is not comfortable here.Some people say ' wait on the Lord.'This relative is fed up with 'waiting' because some past issues that he expected would be resolved have gone on for six plus years.He does not want this situation to be similar.I want to stay,but if he goes,I will too.Please help.Suggestions?

Why not just some sort of punishment, or some sort of basic-training for belief?!?!

Why Hell and eternal damnation? Just for not believing? But there's no reason to believe!!!

Doesn't that make God very cruel and unjust?

I mean, if God reveals His truth to people, will it not fill the "God-shaped" vacuum in people's souls, as Christians claim??

Why doesn't God just "educate" the people and reveal Himself to them so that they might choose God reasonably?

Why does He hide Himself so, from people? How can God justify a system that He created where so many people "choose" to go to Hell?

There seems to be a major flaw in the design.... I mean, Hell - it is not a pretty place, right?

So we have from God: "BELIEVE OR DIE" - basically.

and we live in a world where there are thousands of different beliefs about God and where, apparently, 4,000,000,000 + are on their way to Hell, simply because they were born in the wrong country!

Why do you hate us? We have every right to put

We all know or believe in something but there are a people at there that have no religion what so ever the "ATHEIST" you would call them. Now, they believe that this is it, a small 80 years or less on what we call earth. Isnt that said that the believe that this is it? I would be crying to think when I die I have no where to go but in the ground to rot. Now I believe in heaven, and hell. I believe thous are the two places that all of us will spend eternity at. Now Im not going to critizes anyone its there beliefs and it sounds like I am. Just need to let you know that it is really sad to think that there is no life after death. Who is with me on this?
