What is making your faith weak in school? God is everywhere present, and your faith in him is in HIM not in the school or the people you're around right? To lose faith just because you are in school does not compute, so I feel there is more to your question and to your problem than you have conveyed here. Faith in God is about Him being with you everywhere all the time no matter what. God is your loving heavenly Father. If all the churches, bibles and other religious books disappeared, you'd still have God with you - in your heart whereever you are. Don't forget to say your prayers, and give thanks and worship once a day, either just before bed or when you get up in the morning.

Did you not realize that God is in every school? God is what is called omnipresent - everywhere. He is immense. God is spirit who is the center of all things. All things and beings live and breathe and have their existence in God.

He loves you. Take your problems and all the good things and all the daily doings of your life to Him every day. If you are losing faith then something else is going wrong. Take this problem of your faith to Him and pray the prayer: "Create a clean heart in me, Oh God".

He's the greatest ... :)

Take care, and I hope your faith brightens with each passing moment.

yea. high school is really hard! what i used to do was daily devotionals. go find a good devote that you like and think you can stick to. Our school also had a small get together group called "Christians on Campus" I'm not sure if you have one like that, but it lets you connect with other Christians at your school and you all depend on eachother to keep one another strong. Youth groups and bible studies were also really fun and inspirational for me! Also, let your faith be known. It's embarassing at times (I used to carry my bible around with me and do devotes and read before class) but let people know you're a Christian and that you don't want to be pushed into their lifestyle. People may make fun of you, or whatever, but it is only God's place to deal with them.
Once you're a little older (hey, im only 19!) you realize what a silly wasted effort high school was. people are so stuck in doing the cool thing and being popular, but once high school's over, none of it matters. Some people become wasted in fruitless regrets. its sad, but some ppl get stuck in it and never grow up. There are way better things in life than giving in, and so much more to look forward to ahead. I know it's hard, no, very hard! but keep on pushing to do good, and God will reward you in the end. You might not see it right away, and you may feel alone sometimes, but you always have God and your Christian family praying for you, and all the youth struggling to keep the faith.

One of the Bible writers Asaph went through a period in his life when he wondered whether it was worth living in a way that pleased God." I became envious of the boasters, when I would see the very peace of wicked people", he wrote. He even said: " Surely it is in vain that I have cleansed my heart and that I wash my hands in innocence itself."-Psalm 73:3,13

Clearly God understands that at times people may question the value of living by his standards. After all, he had Asaph's thoughts recorded in the Bible. In the end,Asaph decided that living by God's laws was the best way of life.(Psalm 73:28) How did he reach that conclusion?Well, Asaph was wise. He made his decision, not because he suffered any personal calamity, but because he had learned from the mistakes of others.(Psalm 73:16-19)
King David on the other hand, had to learn the hard way and suffered much as a result.(2 Samuel11:1-12:23) Getting involved with adultery and then trying to cover it up by having the husband of his lover killed. As a result he hurt others including God,and suffered severe anxiety. After David repented, God inspired him to express his feelings in song and had those words preserved for our benefit.(Psalm 51:1-19;Romans 15:4) So it's both wise and Scriptural to learn from the mistakes of others.
It can be particularly hard in High School to not follow the crowd. But look around you.Really observe what students that get involved with immorality, alcohol and drugs are feeling. Are they really happy or just trying to fill an unrecognized need.Perhaps if they had a relationship with God, they would not feel so lonely, or be pressured into conduct that can hurt them in the long run. Are you able to defend your faith from the Bible with confidence? Reading even just a passage a day from the Bible can upbuild you and strengthen your resolve.

Some things that helped me:

Reading the Bible and praying is important.

Having strong Christian friends helped me perhaps the most. Maybe try to get to know someone from your church better that you don't know yet. If your church doesn't have many kids in the youth group, perhaps go to another church's mid-week program to get to know other kids better. I did both of those at different times.

Knowing what and why I believe helped me also. Josh McDowell and Answers In Genesis both have some great stuff.

You must keep a certain amount of your time away from school praying or practicing your faith. You must make the effort to make it strong, when you have time. This is true of all religious faiths. Don't see others, that have differing beliefs as a challenge to what you believe. They may be doing alright on what they have been born into or taught.

Why is hard to keep your faith? If you truly believe then you should not be influenced by others. My guess is that your are not a true believer or have fragile beliefs & perhaps you are influenced because you can't avoid the logic. I suggest that you read your bible, other versions & translations, history, science & religions (not just your religion). Know your religions history & use nonbias material to obtain your knowledge.

Thumbs down? You have a problem with ppl educating themselves? Hmmm? I find that a little disturbing, but not surprising.

Witness every chance you get. That is the hardest part of being a teenager facing peer pressure. But, when you let people know how you stand, it becomes easier.

No, you won't be liked by some people, but Jesus said all Christians would be persecuted. In this day and age in this country, it is mostly social persecution, or people talking about you. Just stop and think about the severe persecution early Christians had to face- burning at the stake, being crucified, etc. Our persecution is nothing compared to what our Lord and other Christians faced.

Just try to think of that, and remember that those who don't accept you because of your faith, wouldn't make great friends anyway. But, do pray for them and be kind to them. Who knows, some of them may accept Jesus because of you.

AND PLEASE DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THE UNBELIEVERS AND ATHEISTS WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. THIS IS PART OF WHAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IN LIFE BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul. Also he said to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. When you do these things God will put everything in place for you to make it through this life because it is not about us but all about HIM!

Well maybe that's because your faith is purely the result of your upbringing, and intellectually you realise that for there to be any merit to your beliefs you need to consider them objectively, either finding a logical justification for your religion or abandoning it. Why don't you try doing that? You might not like what you find, but you know it isn't going to go away just because you don't find it.

Faith is defined as belief without evidence. Demand evidence for what you believe. It is human nature to lie. Don't abandon your ability to reason at the alter of Christianity.
