For our annual Christmas Party, we will be playing a variation on the game "Family Feud." As you may know, this game requires people to guess at that the results of various public survey's. We thought it might be a good idea to post some of those survey questions here, and see what kind of results we get. So please feel free to respond with a single answer choice; all earnest answers are greatly appreciated.

Today's question is any easy one: "What might you find in a traditional nativity manger scene, besides the baby Jesus?"

There are some obvious answers, but diversity is welcome. Any viable answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is truly shocking for us to hear this; but the Word of God says there is no longer any blessing of God upon those attending churches anywhere in the world. We have to understand this is why the great tribulation is so awful. The Bible declares that Satan is now the one receiving the worship in the churches:
For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the Comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. (Lamentations 1:16)
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)

I would honestly like your opinion. I frequent a coffee shop 3or4 times a week with friends, if we do not order a special coffee or smoothie we don't have to stand in line, just put your money in the honor tube and help yourself to regular coffee. A well to do gentleman throws a penny in the tube(everyone has seen this)gets his coffee sits down visits, gets a refill(should pay .50 cents) to go, doesn't pay, walks out. What do we say if anything? What would you say?

this is for people who are catholic only please. if you are atheist and try to disrespect me or try to say something that is rude. can you please relax and stop obsessing about what other people have chosen to believe, and i will pray for you. because i will not change who i am and i want to believe.

help, i'm quite noobie, and i don't know much. i want to read this book called the complete and updated catechism of the catholic church. and i can't read it because the grammar is too great for me, i can't seem to understand it much. i can understand some parts because god has created every man with love and with light and his image but i can't seem to read some other parts. help!

Following is a short staory that talks about the nature of Heaven - http://www.boomerangtags.com/gates.html

Do any Catholics know of a similar kind of story that speaks of the nature of Purgatory?

I will be more than glad to report and block anyone who argues that there is no Purgatory. Save it for another question.

If there is no conscious awareness after death, how could the "spirits in prison", who lived during the time of Noah, be preached to by Christ after His death (I Pet 3:18-20) and how could the good news be "declared even unto the dead" (I Pet 4:5-6)?

Do any of you 40 and 50-somethings think it's hilarious that our parents made fun of us for sticking "like" in the middle of a sentence, and now our kids and grandkids are doing it too? Would they do it if they realized they're talking just like us?

Another question actually made me think of this one. But these Christian bookstores sell all kinds of products with religious sayings or depictions on them. Soaps, candies, lotions, socks, lip balms, etc. Are you more faithful because you use these products? Are they a reminder of your faith (if so, why do you need a reminder)? Am I more likely to go to heaven if I die with a TestaMint freshening my breath? Or is all of this just straightforward commercialism. And, if it is commercialism, then what right do Christians have to complain when the rest of us commercialize Christmas (which was a pagan holiday to begin with)?

Does Prov 4:18 really justify an organization replacing doctrines and failed prophecies with new doctrines and prophecies, or does it simply contrast the benefit to the "righteous" of obeying a wise father (Prov 4:10-19)? False teachings can be called "false words" and Prov 13:5 says, "A false word is what the righteous hates..." When the WTS changes a teaching to something that is totally different, is it like a light that is getting brighter and brighter or more like having one false light (word) completely turned off and a totally different light turned on? Do you think the WTS would be critical of any other organization that changed its teachings as many times on as many different issues over the last 100 years as the WTS has?

Whenever some particularly evil leader arises people immediately think he is the man of sin or antichrist; but the man of sin spoken of in the Bible is not a man at all, but rather he is Satan himself. Satan alone qualifies since he is the only one who could have been present nearly 2000 years ago; and yet, come against the people of God near the end of the world:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

think about it,

to thiests, your current pysical bieng is only temporary and you will "continue to live" therefore isnt' belief in an afterlife cheapening human life and lessens the gravity of the decision to kill someone, see them die or whatnot.

athiests on the other hand see that there is only one shot. you take away someone's life, thats it. There is higher value to the athiest becasue life will not continue in some magical imaginary realm with ponies and flowers and robotechnology.
