I know people who believe that if you "willfully" sin you will lose your salvation. I have ministered to these people and had them look me straight in the face and say that they did not willfully sin. I am feeling the pulse here and it looks good. Thanks !!!
The next question will be...what is the willful sin of Hebrews 10. I will start that right now.

Have you ever known anyone to "unwillfully" sin?

One can sin without realizing it, or sin realizing it. Fortunately, in Christianity, the Christian is seen as being dead to sin and freed from sin, so if they do sin, it is not held against them. It is attributed to the "old man" who was buried with Christ. As long as the Christian is focused on the Spirit and not the works of the flesh, there is life.

Come on.
all of your actions, except for maybe bumping into someone after catching your foot on a rock, is an act of the will. (oh yea there's breathing too and of course your heart beats and you have dreams and maybe there are others but)

Do you sin? then it is will full.
Don't get hung up in the law. Fallow the spirit and know you walk forgiven. be thankful in that you have salvation
(an audience with The Creator, your spiritual father)
and do what's right every chance you get.

All sin is willful. It is either conciously willful, or spiritually, but unconciously willful. The argument from a Christian perspective is that even if you are not intending to commit sin, that your spirit will sin. Thinking of sex with someone who isn't your wife is an example of that type of spiritual indulgence.

Every one sins whether unintentional or willfull, EVERY ONE sins. But that issue was taken care of on the cross. We have been freed from sin. Our spirit is always wanting to do right, but it is our flesh that still holds on to the world and so it is a constant battle. Yes, it is important to try not to sin and do right, but more importantly, it is your relationship with God that will save you.

Okay your question needs another question.

What is a christian sin? Not going to church? Not praying?

Dont ask me if there is difference in sins in different religion, yes there is. Check all religions and their sins.

No one is perfect. That is why we ask for forgiveness, but if you commit the same sin over and over, God will eventually stop forgiving you. If you keep repeating sins, you do not believe and will not repent. God doesn't like that.

If Christians believe in free will, wouldn't that make all sin "willful?"

Yes.

If youre a politician and you have to protect your country, you create lies and deceptions to do so.

Isnt that a sin? even if it serves some 'greater good'?

Isn't all sin willful? I don't know, honestly. Perhaps there are some sins that we do unknowingly, like eating too much or perhaps greed.

In general yes. Believers are in a constant battle to not do those things their flesh wants to do on some level-whether it just in thought, word...or deed.
