Whenever some particularly evil leader arises people immediately think he is the man of sin or antichrist; but the man of sin spoken of in the Bible is not a man at all, but rather he is Satan himself. Satan alone qualifies since he is the only one who could have been present nearly 2000 years ago; and yet, come against the people of God near the end of the world:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

The Bible says some very specific things about the true Antichrist. You are right, he will arise in flesh as a man but will be completely compelled by the evil one. The true Antichrist will desecrate the temple, he will claim to have risen from the dead, he will deceive millions worldwide. If you remember Adolf Hitler - glory to man and all of those sayings - his entire philosophy and doings were based on an evolutionary worldview. He was anti God, yet he deceived millions. If you watch footage of people who were his followers and the rituals they performed, he was completely anti God and pro - MAN. People worshipped him and said Hile Hitler. Sometimes today we hear people say "Praise God" or "Amen" - but when the true antichrist arises - you will hear people praising him in their everyday language and you will be persecuted for not following suit. The true Antichrist will deceive many more people than Adolf Hitler did since he will be evil in human form. The bible says that evil comes as an angel of light. He will perform miracles and appear to be doing the world much good. For a time, he may even bring world peace and healing. But, the good he does is with the purpose to deceive and give glory to man - not to God. He will probably have a group of close "disciples" who turn to him and give their lives to him right away. His will mirror the work of Jesus when Jesus was on earth in many ways. We see these ideas in the world today. Evolution says there is no god - man developed from random chance processes over billions of years. If that is true, then the bible is meaningless and tells lies. It's true that this spirit is already in the world. Take a look at consumerism and how each person is primarily concerned with himself, his own needs, his own wants. Abortion destroys human life, but people believe their own life is far more valuable and they even believe it's honorable to do. Late term abortions are performed where the brains are sucked out of a little one's head so the body can be pulled out - the same drug is given to kill a fetus that murderers on death row receive - except our abortions occur with no anesthesia for little one who we know feels pain. After all if we all evolved from mud puddle - what's the difference really? We are accountable to no higher power. The idea of self actualization focuses one's attention on personal fulfillment. The things of God are other centered and God centered. The bible says that people will sin and will not even blush with embarassment. You see that in our media today - sitcoms and shows where men and women love each other up and showing their cleavage and talking about pornography and laughing about viewing it. They talk of such things with no shame, no remorse and not even a hint of embarassment over it. It's the searing of the conscience to where many people don't even have one anymore these days. It's easy to see this is happening in a thousand other ways too.

That is right.

But we cannot assume of his identity until the time comes.
But yes,he will be or already is a great political ruler.

May your eyes and ears remain sharp when the time comes.
God Bless.
