that "alot" is NOT a word?!?!?!

Jakex :]-- Wake up! Capitalizing a word, especially on the internet for emphasis, hardly equates to thinking a word exists that does not simply because you don't know any better. But nice desperate try from someone who probably DIDN'T know any better!

i know what you mean. i wish people would learn to properly use they're, their and there too.
and there's you're and your.

Blimey - bad spelling and poor grammar is very irritating I agree, but I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

For a start, it's not like Y!A is important literature and, for a second, kids don't give a monkey's these days anyway.

When this sort of stuff starts appearing in my letters from the bank - then I'll get angry.

Picky picky picky. Yes, we do. However, most people type fast and some lost spaces result, also typos. Now relax, calm down and have a nice cold drink of something. If that's your biggest problem, count yourself lucky!

actually just found that out...for the longest time i thought the correct spelling was 'alot'

yes, you are right,( a lot) OR( lots) is the correct way one to use:

a lot of cars, lots of cars ,are on the park.

And that "?!?!?!" is not proper puntuation?
