It is truly shocking for us to hear this; but the Word of God says there is no longer any blessing of God upon those attending churches anywhere in the world. We have to understand this is why the great tribulation is so awful. The Bible declares that Satan is now the one receiving the worship in the churches:
For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the Comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. (Lamentations 1:16)
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)

God has not removed his spirit as of yet that will happen after the body of christ leave and the tribualtion begins ,then the spirit will no longer strive with man,go back and read it again for this was in a time of the old testament, its not now,Jesus said he will never leave us or forsake us,ask the holy spirit to lead you and guide you into all truth instead of jumping to conclusions

That is very sad and very untrue.

You need to pray to God before being decieved with such ideas. That's not what it means in Lamentations about the churches.

As for Revelations, what makes you think that God's Spirit has left the church? The church is the body of Christ. Read it in the New Testament.

I think there is a problem with your premise.

God's Spirit resides in people, and not in a church corporate.

A little substitution theology going on here?

It is sad to see many churches abandoning the gospel for new age stuff, and other things.

He probably got fed up with the tedious posturing and maundering and went somewhere he could find some real spiritual activity. An AA meeting perhaps.

Um....sorry but.....the Spirit of God is alive & well and living within me as a believer in Christ.

And He certainly has NOT left my church.

The moment He leaves my church........the faster I find a new one where He does reside.

Edit:
Maybe I misunderstood your question.....sorry about that. I think you're speaking of after the rapture of the church.

This is false propaganda from Harold Camping. God has not left His Church. The Church will glorify God throughout all generations. Read Ephesians, please and stop listening to dopes on the radio.

can you blame God, when people do cruel things in his name? he says to be kind and love one another, but people who read his word and try to convert people against their wishes. they put people down who don't believe in him even if they are good people. the modern day church is petty and self righteous. can you truly blame God? I believe in God, but I'm not a christian. I don't believe in half the crap that is spewed in church because it undermines God.
