I mean, I can do a little math (just a little) and even if you use the calculations of the Bible, you come up with more than 6000.

I'm being serious, I've only heard/seen this on R&S.

my mum watched a documentary on survivors of tornados today on uktv documentary.

it was about 70 people who hid in a church but the tornado hit it. The only piece of the church that was left standing was the corridor that they all happened to be in.

Someone claimed to see angels.

Apparently some1 took a picture and when its turned on its side, it looks like jesus holding the walls up.

Where can i find this pic on the internet???

The Trinity is a Catholic doctrine. It was voted upon and created at the Nicaean council in 325 AD by the roman emperor Constantine (Who was in the process of merging Christianity and Paganism for political reasons).

So if you're Catholic, I understand how you can believe in this. However, if you're any other version of Christian, how is it that you believe in a "revelation" by someone that you don't consider inspired by God???

There is no mention of the Trinity in the Bible. Additionally, you have to work really hard to make "The Trinity" fit into other Biblical scripture and teachings.

I thought this was a good talk on the matter: (13 minute MP3)

Do far right protestant Christians believe that Roman Catholics will go to hell? Surely if they believe in Jesus then they will have as much right to salvation as you.

If you do think they will go to heaven, then why all the arguing?

Basically, I want to start going to church. I have never been before so I am unsure of what to do. I've decided to go to the church of the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, which is Catholic. So do you need to be dressed real smart? Because I don't own any really smart clothes. Would jeans and a smart jumper suffice? And do you just walk in and sit down, or are there specific places to sit? And when they do Holy Communion, will I look wierd if I don't partake? And when will I get to do Holy Communion?

Whether it is the Bible, the Koran or any other religious work its inspiration is claimed to be from God. But why should we believe those who make that claim?

Oppressive governments that persecute and kill Chrisitans?

Or

A gospel that says, "Being a good person will get you to heaven" and "Jesus is just one of many ways to heaven"?

What do you think?

Say they are Christian, but then accept like Yoga and Tai Chi and other practices that the Bible clearly forbids.

This one Catholic lady was telling me all about alternative medicine and Chinese medicine. I was like "let me out of here!"....

I mean, why not just start practicing vodoo too?

What does the Bible say about piercings or tattoos? I was thinking of getting a tattoo, but at this point I have no tattoos and no piercings, not even my ears. If you could give me the text/verse that would be great too.
And don't bother with anti-Bible, anti-God remarks. They're not helpful and I don't care.

I'm an agnostic, so while I have some doubts about the existence of God, I have none about right and wrong. Many Atheists oppose the Catholic Church on the grounds that "their priests are perverts" well, unless you believe that perversion is definitely evil, you can't say that.
