Yes Mary was a virgin and remained a virgin. Catholics DO NOT worship Mary,we ONLY worship God Almighty we honor Mary. We DO NOT pray to Mary we ASK her to pray for us.Mary was step mother to Josephs children from a previous marriage. But Mary only birthed one child and that is Jesus Christ.

When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, "the Lord's brother"). A year after his wife's death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age. Joseph, who was at the time ninety years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph, and two years later the Annunciation took place.

Jesus DID NOT establish a religion. Religion is man made, not God made. Jesus established a church in 33AD and placed that church into Peter's hands . That church is the Catholic Church and that church has been going strong for over 2,000 years and the gates of hell will never prevail over here. Please stop reading anti Catholic and haters of the Catholic Church(Jesus's church) websites and really inform yourself before bearing false witness against Christ and His church

Yes Mary was a virgin and you are also right that we are not to worship false gods. We must only worship the true God, Yahweh, as you call him. We judge which religion is right by comparing the beliefs and traditions of the religion to the word of God (the Bible) and if it agrees with the word of God, then it is right and true, but whatever disagrees with God's word is false.

At the time of Christ's birth, yes. Later in life, no. She was married, and as such, having sex with your husband is totally acceptable. Mary and Joseph had other children, so it would stand to reason that at some point, Mary and Joseph were "together". What would married life be like if there wasn't that physical connection? It would be dull, boring and pretty much loveless.

I can't say why Catholics pray to her. I think it's because they think that Mary will hear the prayers and take them to Christ for them? I'm real clear on that. I do know that Christ said that no one can come to the Father except through him. So I don't think praying to Mary does any good, but that's just what I believe. I don't think it's worshiping false gods so much as trying to get to Christ through his mom. But praying to God himself, instead of someone else, would probably be better then praying to Christ's mom to intercede. Again, just my opinion.

The right religion is the one you believe in, and the one that gives you a personal relationship with whatever god you choose. Anything that brings you closer to your own personal truths. I would say that I think my religion is the right one, but wouldn't we all say that?

Yes, I believe that Mary was a virgin, but not for her entire life... yes, at the time of Jesus' birth, afterwards, no.

Why do Catholics worship her?... Dunno- that's between them and God. I guess part of the issue is a definition of "worship"-- I feel that asking one who is dead to ask God for me is kinda silly (I don't mean to offend.), but that's just my feelings.

Knowing which religion is right, true or even most correct is a tricky thing- there's no way to really get absolute proof one way or another.

I know what I believe, and like most people out there who think their belief is correct, I'm pretty sure I'm right. I try not to judge, but I guess in the end, we'll all find out what's true when we die....

When she gave birth to Jesus yes she was a virgin. Afterwards no I don't think she was. The Bible refers to Jesus' brothers and sisters. Catholics say they do not worship Mary that they merely honor her. No one can say what is in their hearts except God. If they truly worship Mary then I think they will be in trouble. However if what they say is true and they just give her honor as the mother of Jesus then I think they are fine.

As to which religion is right. The answer is Christianity and Catholics are Christians.

Yes I believe Mary was a virgin. I never understood why catholics worship her, maybe since she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus. However, the bible is chock full of flawed people who were chosen for big things. I use the bible as determination for what religion is right

the world of truth is full of omens... what is a christians or catholic that it is easier for them to beleive that a woman can concieve a child through devine conception rather than beleive that a woman who conceives a child out of wed lock can still be called a good woman... This omen is an idication of the christian mentality...the bible says... "you will know them by their works"... this is their work... the worship of ignorance one could say.. just as they are capable of beleiving the world is only 6000 years old... Would you allow one of these to lead you in understanding of anything. or rule you through politics... can you ever trust their judgement?

Yes

Look what Al-Qur'aan says

[3:42] The angels said, "O Mary, GOD has chosen you and purified you. He has chosen you from all the women.
[3:43] "O Mary, you shall submit to your Lord, and prostrate and bow down with those who bow down."
[3:44] This is news from the past that we reveal to you. You were not there when they drew their raffles to select Mary's guardian. You were not present when they argued with one another.
[3:45] The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.'
[3:46] "He will speak to the people from the crib, as well as an adult; he will be one of the righteous."
[3:47] She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is.
[3:48] "He will teach him the scripture, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel."

The Bible, God's Word, says that she was, therefore I believe that she was. Period. And I don't know why anyone thinks they should worship her (or anyone other than God); she was a great and very important person, but she was just a person.
