Just so some of you know, I am a Jew myself, my mother comes from a Jewish Orthodox family.

The answers are how I imagined them do be...
I'm disappointed and suggest you actually do some research into when you are supporting!
Once you do, you'll see why I asked ALL six questions.

#3 Correction

It's the Jewish ultra-Orthodox view that is different, and only a small minority of them are anti-Zionist. For the most part, Orthodox Jews are very Zionist.

Just so you know.

Anyways, I'm not Xian I'm Jewish, but seeing as it's been 6 hours can I answer?

1. Theodor Herzl.
2. He was secular.
3. Orthodox Jews are for the most part Zionist--there is a small minority that is not, in the ultra-Orthodox section. Mind you, they are a small minority. They believe that Israel should be and only can be a religious Jewish state mandated by Torah--since Israel is not that, it's run by apikorsim and shouldn't exist until the Messiah comes to straighten us out.
4. I think it hovers around 2%, but I think I am wrong.
5. Arabic
6. does not apply to me

Zionism was a natural product of the culture of the Jewish people in exile.
Moses Hess, a more or less secular Jew and a socialist, was probably the first to enunciate these ideas in so many words in his book Rome and Jerusalem, published in 1862
Leon Pinsker and Hovevei Tziyon - Inspired by the anti-Semitic violence in Russia, Leon Pinsker formulated the modern idea of Zionism in a small pamphlet called Auto-Emancipation, published in 1882.
Theodor (Binyamin Ze’ev) Herzl (1860-1904), founded the Zionist political movement. He pictured a Jewish social utopia in Palestine. It would be a pluralist, technologically advanced, secular society with equality for Arabs.

Beliefs include Muslim and Christian.

I am not sure what the percentage of Palestinians are Christian, but I believe it is the highest around 9% some say 3%

When I looked up the language I found Levantine
ArabicMany Fundementalist are looking at BIblical prophecy and looking toward the return of Jesus.

Christians feel that it is their duty to support Israel simply because they view it as the holy land. There is no other answer to that question. As reflected by the statement of one of the other answers. I would like to point out to him that Jesus in his time was seeking to reform the Jewish faith and how they viewed God, and to say that God will always defend anyone or anyplace would not take into account the changes in view point of the people. The bible is only relevant in the time frame in which it was written....if you do not allow for any other prophets to come in the name of your god then you have no way of knowing how God feels on the issues of today. weather or not i am christian is irrelevant to logical observation.

The answers to these five questions is irrelevant because the Bible says "he how blesses Israel will be blessed but he how curses Israel will be cursed."
Israel is God's chosen people and the Christians of the world.

I can't answer your questions without some research, but the Bible says those that bless Israel will be blessed. And we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

The 'state of Israel' is NOT the ISRAEL of scripture. If it is, then all within that state would know and believe in the Messiah AND be following the laws of Torah(Yah's commandments). Just goes to show you how great the deception is.
BTW, yes, I'VE BEEN THERE and THEY DON"T OBSERVE TORAH. And they STILL are not saying 'Baruch haba b'shem adonai'('Blessed is He who comes in the name of Adonai')

Who gives a crap?

And why is it if anyone questions the authority of Israel they are automatically anti-Semitic?

Why do any of those questions except #6 matter? I support Israel because no matter what, the Jews have a covenant with God. No matter how badly they screw up. Israel has been and will continue to be defended by God himself.
