Adam and Eve had more than two sons. The account does not list the names of all of them, but it does mention a third son, Seth. Also, they had other children, girls and boys, so it is obvious that is how the human race multiplied. Genesis 5 v 4.

according to the myth, just after Abel's death but long before Adam and Even have kids #3 and onwards, god telsl Cain his punishment.
Cain in turn askes what wil lhappen when he runs into other people! If there were only 3 people alive at the time (Adam, Eve and Cain; remember Abel is dead), he would have no reason to assume anyone else existed!
Therefor, the Adam and Eve story is clearly a creation myth for the Hebrew peeople - not the entire human race - nor should it be taken as such.

Adam and Eve also had two daughters. I know this for a fact, but I'm thinking that the human race multiplied because the sons had sex with their sisters. I'm confused..lol.

Adam and Eve had 2 sons and three daughters....
But, here is a little secret for you...there were TWO creations.
The story of Cain and Abel happened after Adam and Eve got the boot from the garden. After Cain killed Abel, he separated from Adam and Eve, and went into the area east of Eden. That was when Cain and his wife started to bear children.
To go on and to understand all this, you REALLY have to dig deep in scripture, and in the spirit. It probably already has thrown most people for a loop.

During the story of Cain and Able, the "Mark of Cain" was placed on him so others would leave him be. Thus, Adam and Eve were not the sole individuals at that time.
There are 2 creation stories interwoven in Genesis 1-14...Thus, there are other analogies that can be deduced.
Jesus said in the New Testament that he spoke in parables...Why cannot this be read in the same fashion?

between the main prevalent questions skeptics rejoice with posing related to the Bible is, “the place did Cain’s spouse come from?” yet that's only an occasion of the place you only ought to shop examining to get the respond. Genesis 5:4 tells us that Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters. in case you lived 930 years, like Adam, and in case you have been wholesome, fertile, and reproductive for decrease than 20 % of your existence, you're able to nonetheless have around 2 hundred childbearing years. With God’s command to be fruitful and multiply, little question Adam’ and Eve’s progeny grew to alter into extremely diverse. pondering the close to appropriate power and well-being experienced by using the 1st generations … properly, they probable had throngs of infants. So Cain fairly took certainly one of his many sisters as his spouse. At this evaluate Bible background, while guy’s genetic power replace into at its top, there replace into no longer something forbidding the prepare. Abraham married his 0.5-sister (Genesis 20:2). Isaac married his cousin. It replace into no longer till the time of Moses that marrying a sister replace into forbidden, probably simply by greater desirable possibility of genetic weak spot and well-being problems with the offspring (Deuteronomy 27:22).

They had many sons and daughters not just 2 sons. There are 3 mentioned in the bible, Cain, Abel and Seth. Genesis 5 speaks of sons and daughters, The human race multipled thru aAdam and Eve's children and grandchildren and so on. It was not considered incest because the blood lines were pure.

Dear
Let me place before you the facts.
It is said that Mother Eve used to deliver each time twins; one male and one female.
Father Adam as a Prophet as a Mentor to his family laid down the rule that his son or daughter cannot marry the sibling born together. So a brother has to marry the sister born to mother eve later or earlier.
That is how the human race multiplied.
Please note:
The first Murder which took place was becuse of trying to violate this rule. Cain (Qabeel, this is the name in my religious books) wanted to marry his own time born sister which was not allowed by the ethics prevailing. His other brother Habeel Abel, was supposed to marry Cain's own sister. So Qabeel murdered him so as to get married to her own sister.
So, I think it makes sense to you that a certain Ethics was enforced even that period. Later in due course of time this was forbidden altogether.
I hope you got a convincing answer.

If you read a little further on in the Bilble it explains that. Not sure if it is in Genesis or not but it is their. I beleive they had more than just two sons but only men were mentioned in the bible except for eve for a long time especially in the old testament. Some women were mentioned but mostly men and that is why it did not clarify this for you. Women were not counted as anything like a man was so Continiue reading and you will find it. I think in Genisis.
