This is sort of a related question about the dream that I asked for interpretation of the other day.

I was sitting thinking to myself today as I was trying to decide who to chose as the best answer, that I always have had odd dreams – In some of them I have been scared in others I haven’t but all my life I have had dreams of what could be described to have been “another world”

So I was just wondering does anyone think it is possible that my dreams actually are real (or so to speak) that they are actually dreams of lives that I have lived in ancient worlds that have long been forgotten

I am just asking for opinions here possible or not and the reason why!!

Many thanks

Jay

I know that being gay goes against many religions, but I just don't understand why people choose to hate gay people over others who do things that go against their religion. It makes me so sad. I hate to generalize, but most the gay people I have ever known have been some of the best people in my life to have. Maybe because they have to overcome the hatred that people throw their way, or maybe because I surround myself with positive people, but why hate gays just because it's against ones religion? Why not hate liars just as much, or adulterers, or people who don't love their god or their neighbors? Why single out that one thing so much? One of my friends just told me last night that he was gay and it makes me sad to think of the hard road he has ahead of him with all the hateful, prejudice people out there.

When can a backslider miss their chance to return into fellowship with God? Is it ever too late to come back? What is a reprobate?

I am Catholic and quite frankly I am sick and tired of hearing all this non-sense about Catholics and what they believe in! So stop hatin' on the Catholics! Anyone else agree?

i was cruising round on YA! today and I found this about lies in school-

"Columbus discovered America (he never even set foot on the continent)

The Pilgrims were the only ones on the Mayflower and came here peacefully (they hijacked it, by all accounts. and they weren't the first "Pilgrims". The first were Spanish Jews)

Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin in Kentucky (that particular cabin was built 30 years after his death)"

what else is there? and why are we taught these lies? are the teachers just unaware and ignorant, or do they know the truth and there's a reason?

I have many questions about Christianity that my pastor just can't answer in a satisfying way. (For example, why would an all-powerful and all-loving Father require my faith instead of having a more personal, face-to-face relationship with me? And lots of others...)

I feel like I need to just stop asking these deep questions to keep my faith intact. But would this offend God? Doesn't God want me to make Christianity logical? I didn't choose to be a questioner, that's just the way I am...

Can anyone else relate? Have you learned to stop asking difficult questions so that you can keep believing?

How would you feel?

For instance, if you hold the doors open for someone, does someone a nice favor, but that person doesn't even thank you for it, how does that make you feel?

I get really pissed off, and would never ever do another favor for that person.

Am I just overreacting? Hopefully I'm not.

the idea of god was created to explain the unexplained. in ancient times they had several dieties to explain everything from infertility to the plague. but science has proven why things like infertility and the plague happened. so those gods have been proven as false. so whats to say the samething won't happen with the Christian god? its a matter of time before the almighty science shows how we were created. then Christianity will be exposed for the lie that it is.

Why do some people think the jena six dont deserve at least 8 years in prison?
no matter what happend before or after this incident. at a party or a store.. or a tree.. the fact remains THAT THESE 6 GANG MEMBERS JUMPED ON WHITE KID. It is not the white peoples fault that the police didnt think they had enough evidence to charge the white kids with an alleged assault that some black kid got while trying to attend a party he wasnt invited too. its not his fault that some guy allegedly pulled a gun on some black boys. THE FACT REMAINS THAT THIS CRIME HAPPENED AND WE HAVE A VICTIM. so are you telling me.. that if i white man in my city rapes a black woman.. and the police dont have enough evidence to charge him.. that its ok for a black boy to go and rape a white lady for revenge. because that is exactly what you people are saying when you think these kids dont deserve max time in a prison. its ok though. they ARE going to prison and when we think that they have learned their lesson and can play nice with normal people. we MIGHT let them out of their cages

This question isn't to bash Athiests. I'm just wondering if this is what you really want to happen. Is it your ideal way to die, or would you want something else if you had that option?
