This is sort of a related question about the dream that I asked for interpretation of the other day.

I was sitting thinking to myself today as I was trying to decide who to chose as the best answer, that I always have had odd dreams – In some of them I have been scared in others I haven’t but all my life I have had dreams of what could be described to have been “another world”

So I was just wondering does anyone think it is possible that my dreams actually are real (or so to speak) that they are actually dreams of lives that I have lived in ancient worlds that have long been forgotten

I am just asking for opinions here possible or not and the reason why!!

Many thanks

Jay

I for one do not believe in reincarnation. So my opinion is that what you are dreaming is the result of an active imagination and an active subconscious.

It is possible, but I would think that it is more likely a mix of your sub-conscious fears, as well as desires that you have. Strangely enough I have had many a dream where I have realized that I was dreaming, and could affect what happened to an extent. The imagination is an incredible thing, and what you are experiencing is more likely akin to what a writer goes through when creating a fiction, rather than a past life.
Have you ever half awoke from a dream, and hit the snooze to make sure you could finish it? Some dreams are almost entertainment. But if you are dreaming of worlds long forgotten, do you ever wish when awake to be in worlds like that? If so, your mind is just granting your wish in the only way it could ever happen.

Hi, Jay
Thanks for inviting me to share my opinion… but I’m not going to give you my YES/NO answer!
You’ve got already a lot of them! An opinion poll of beliefs…
I can only encourage you: seek and you’ll find!
The point is where to seek? If standing somewhere in the street you start querying strangers for a destination, you may get absolutely controversial replies, while they are all willing to help.
As for me, having tried asking for a direction in some new places, I’ve preferred reading the signs, instead of asking the way. The Universe is always sending the signs.
I’d recommend you books, they are my gurus. I would highly recommend you ‘The Celestine Prophecy’ by J.Redfield and his following books. They are a brilliant vision on the new age we have entered, showing at the same time that the humanity has the common spiritual history.

Life is learning, learning wisdom. The purpose of life is the process itself!
Keep trying, keep in touch!
Good luck!

If there is such a thing as past life's I don't believe it comes to you in dreams but is a part of who you are. I admire people like Alexander The Great and Achilles so I feel I was possible a great warrior in the past.

Hello Jay :
You' re really going out on a limb , here , to think you' ve had past lives ! But after reading your story , I can see why you might believe in it .
I don' t know where these dreams are coming from , but , I , personally don' t believe in " the past life " .
So , NO ! You have never lived in ancient worlds .

No, I don't think it's possible. In fact the idea has nothing whatsoever in its favour. Everyone has odd dreams, though not everyone remembers them and there's been quite a lot of research that has produced perfectly reasonable explanations for why people dream as they do.

There is no evidence of any other kind for reincarnation.

No. They are dreams. Hence they will seem like "another world", as they are not real.
They include information already in your mind, so they may involve you "visiting" ancient worlds that you know about.
Don't get sucked in into the mystical, past-lives crapola. It'll just end up with you getting scammed. Trust me.

I truly have my doubts, but there's much in this old would and outside of it and it's dimensions, that I wouldn't pretend to put a handle on. More than likely, after some serious observation, further study and concentration you'll be able to answer for yourself.

Not likely since there is no such thing as past lives.

No.

We all have dreams set in "other worlds". It's not unique to you.

You have this life; no others.
