Back a few thousand years ago there were glaciers covering most of Europe. Perhaps some Neanderthals survived to fairly recently in western Europe and perhaps still exist today in some places such as the Caucasus. The old legends of trolls and Gwendel may be from these relict populations. Bigfoot is actually something different. It has a counterpart in China known as the Yeren. It is not the same thing as the Yeti as unbelievable as that sounds, there are more than two and probably as many as four different types, the Yeti, the small hobbit like ones (Orang Pendek), the Bigfoot type, and Almasty (Neanderthal like).

No he only lives in the Himalayas. I don't know much about him, but he lives in the Himalayas, has a big foot, and attacks people. If I were you, don't go climb Mt. Everest, if you don't find him on your way to the top you still might die. Don't try it! LOL! :P JK!!!!
