Where did the "other people" come from that are mentioned in genesis? Why do we not learn about their creation? Also, why do we not learn about the other children born of Adam and Eve?

and lead to a complete paradigm shift and certainty so that as the world believes the world is round not flat, the earth spins around the sun, microorganisms not evil cause disease, etc--so christianity and other religions shall be like egyptian or incan gods? To an extent, the survivability of world religions is due to the very existence of the civilizations that hold their beliefs. Thus, short of eradicating the population physically...who much confidence do you have in science that is could accomplish this "eradication"? Project time frame?

Ok so get this. I'm on a diet, my work has free lunch every day, and I'm sturuggling to eat my "diet lunch" I brought and not get any of the catered lunch. My co worker knows this. So anyways I get to work this morning and shes saying she some how lost her breakfast on the way in and has none. So being nice I give her my banana. Lunch arrives around 10:00 and its a mexican place I love with guacamole I'm addicted to. I have to try hard to not sit there and pig out on it with some salsa. So with her knowing this also, she goes and gets some guacamole and chips early and eats them at her desk in front of me! We arent really even supposed to eat at our desks. I know she really likes them too, but dont you think that was kinda rude considering I gave her a banana when she had no breakfast??? Uhhhhh. Now I'm struggling even harder to fight the urge to not go get the guacamole when its right in front of me now and I can hear her crunching the chips!!! NOT nice!!

Mine is Mickey Mouse. Originally the idea of an animated talking mouse was seen as evidence that the end of the world was here. Cartoon rodents should not talk on movie screens!

I am not trying to prove anyone wrong. So no need to start up a debate or anything. its just a joke that I wanted to post.

A man went to a barbershop to have
His hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work,
They began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so
Many things
And various subjects.

When they eventually touched on
The subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?"
Asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in
The street to realize that God
Doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists,
Would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither
Suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine loving a God who
Would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment,
But didn't respond because he didn't
Want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer
Left the shop.

I am a 33 yr african american women, and in my travels I have come across many different nationalities and I have been consistantly treated bad by hispanic women, whether it is a business or personal transaction. I was just wondering if I am the only one to experience this. I am a very friendly and out going person. I address everyone with respect and class even after they are disrespectful to me and I don't seem to understand what the issue is. My mother in-law is Panamanian and she is the sweetest person you ever want to meet and she even notices it as well. Can someone help me, I have even considered learning another language to assist with the issue but I am not sure it will help. Any suggestions or answers out there?

I want to design and have my craftsman son make an athame and a boline. But I need a basic drawing of each to base my designs on. IS there a site somewhere that has basic drawings of a few different ones.? I've tried to bring a site up but am not having much success. My son has made all types of knives before but he realizes that this one will be special to me and wants to make it very individualized. Info on metals and woods for something like this would be appreciated as well.

I believe in God. I am open minded. I dont think being Gay means you go to hell. I am bisexual myself. I see nothing wrong in having fun in life. I dont believe everything in the bible, because logically, there is no way everything in the bible is true. I believe Evolution is a total possibility. I have no grudge agienst atheists. If you are rude to me, I see no reason to be kind to you. I find the quote "Love the sinner, but hate the sin" a stupid way to see things.
I come on here sometimes to see whats going on with everyone else.
And I am ashamed when I see some "Christians" on here. They are awful! They are nothing but rude and judgemental and no matter what you guys do, you never listen to one another.
I know thats the way it is, but "Christians" claim to be "kind" and BS, but I havent seen one nice one yet. Not a single open minded person on here.
People following the bible blindly, not asking questions. Not taking logic into account.
Is there no one that agrees?

A deleted question:

"When observing the “working” woman, one can quickly notice that she spends her time gossiping and socializing, as is her feminine nature, rather than completing the task at hand. That is one of numerous reasons why I abhor the notion of women possessing masculine jobs--anything other than sweeping the floor is beyond the capabilities of a female.

As for the “homemaker” father, the paternal figure who has demoted himself to the ranks of a female, he who is neglecting his responsibility to care for and protect his family, an honor that only a man can properly hone. Such a pagan of a family will soon fall into poverty and become the laughing stock of the entire neighborhood.

Based on these Godly facts, which circumstance would you rather find yourself in?"

Obviously satire. But the fact such satire exists shows there is real thinking that goes along the lines of this, something ALSO shown by the barrage of breastbeating "answers" that this ? inspired. Thoughts?

This is a serious question and I mean no disrespect.
I just finished reading a book called "God's Promise" about a mother's journey with autism (her son was born with it).
The mother refers many times to something being "God's will" or "plan". That she would try a different therapy if it is God's will. Many things she did not put a lot of effort into because she did not feel it was "God's Plan"...these are things that today have shown significant changes with children with autism.
Please only serious answers because this seriously has a special place in my heart. I am saddened by the things I see could have been done, and the thought of "what could have been" had they were done.
So all you believers out there please tell me how one knows what "God's plan" is? I know you pray, but what form of answers do you get to know what his plan is?
