My boss (Baptist minister) and I (of Baptist faith) disagree on whether animals go to heaven. In my belief I think heaven will consist of all the things that make one happy. Therefore my cat will be there. He says animals don't have souls and won't be a part of it. Comments?

I studied comparative world religion in college as a minor because I was curious. I find the same themes in all of them. A majority have the same common ground, its just the small details that are different.

Do you think that God has tried to contact us in many different ways and times and we have just interpreted the message differently? Do you think all these faiths are really for the same God?

I have access to elk, deer and moose bone and horn to make handles for ritual tools like athame or a boline. Are these good materials for this? Does it change the rituals in any way if these materials are a part of the tool?

You can not leave Jehovah God to the way side and just focus on Jesus.

Jesus makes that clear in this scripture !!!

This is for those people who believe in magic.

If you believe in magic, do you think it's possible that Jesus was some sort of powerful magician or something that cast a spell, to save our souls? Could he have done some sort of self sacrifice magic?

What's the difference between the stuff you hear about in the Bible and magic?

I work in an office with mostly men in their thirties and fourties, Im the receptionist in a car dealer yet some wives are SO rude with me when they call the office and ask to speak to their husbands, they met me once or twice and never even spoke to me. It's not like I flirt with their husbands, sometimes we go to lunch together or have a drink after work but it stays professional, even one man told me his wife doesn't like me just by looking at me, so I wore a mini skirt and low cut blouse at the christmas party!! So what anyway, What's wrong and how can I fix this issue? thanks all!!!

“Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”

Here, Paul talks about “the election of grace”.

It is not the election of works.
It is not the election of grace + works.

It is the election of GRACE.

And as IF to prevent the error of thinking that election and salvation is according to (or based on) grace PLUS works, Paul continues his argument to say:

IF it is according to grace, then it CAN’T be according to works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace!
IF it is according to works, then it CAN’T be according to grace. Otherwise, works would no longer be works!
