Ok so get this. I'm on a diet, my work has free lunch every day, and I'm sturuggling to eat my "diet lunch" I brought and not get any of the catered lunch. My co worker knows this. So anyways I get to work this morning and shes saying she some how lost her breakfast on the way in and has none. So being nice I give her my banana. Lunch arrives around 10:00 and its a mexican place I love with guacamole I'm addicted to. I have to try hard to not sit there and pig out on it with some salsa. So with her knowing this also, she goes and gets some guacamole and chips early and eats them at her desk in front of me! We arent really even supposed to eat at our desks. I know she really likes them too, but dont you think that was kinda rude considering I gave her a banana when she had no breakfast??? Uhhhhh. Now I'm struggling even harder to fight the urge to not go get the guacamole when its right in front of me now and I can hear her crunching the chips!!! NOT nice!!

Some of you people dont get it. I said you arent really supposed to eat at your desk to begin with, and yes she knows I LOVE that guacamole and it was hard on me to pass it up dieting. Its called common curtiousy for a co worker who youre supposed to help out when you can.

Your diet is your own affair. Although many dieters, recovering tobacco addicts, jilted lovers, and overburdened parents seem to believe otherwise, your situation does not entitle you to any special comsideration from co-workers. If you feel and act bitchy, then take responsibility your own feelings and actions instead of blaming others.

Others shouldn't have to tip-toe around your lifestyle choice. She's hungry, all she ate was a banana! Go get some guacamole and salsa, girl. A little won't blow your diet. It's not like it's a big mac or something.

I would just confront her in a very nice and polite wayl Maybe she does not realize how big of a jerk she is.

or

You could be just grumpy because you are denying yourself. Do you diet everday or do you allow your self one day of pleasure for at least one meal

and

Where do you work at FREE LUNCH. Man you got it good and cant even enjoy it. Thats Sad

well

Good Luck with your diet when you are skinny and pretty she will be fat and out of shape and wish she had joined you on the diet then you can snack in front of her.

God Bless

Yes what she did is rude... assuming that she knows you are addicted to guacomole. She may have no idea. But if she is just doing it on purpose then she really needs to get a life and stop being a pain in the @$$ to other people because it's just uncalled for.

Why'd you give her your food in the first place? I skip breakfast every day and I'm still alive and well. Next time, let HER be the one to go a little hungry, then she can see what it's like to have to deal with that feeling.

No, it's not rude. Would you consider it rude for a Budweiser truck to pull up next to you at a red light if you have quit drinking? Were you expecting something in return for your banana? I think you're just hungry and grumpy.
