The first prayer God hears from a person is a prayer giving ownership of one's life to God and asking Him to take His rightful place as the "Boss".
After a person prays that prayer, God hears their cries for help in all other areas of their life. God knows what you "need" before you even ask Him. He is waiting for you to stop trying to do it all yourself and give it completely to Him. It has to be very difficult to answer prayers when the person asking for help keeps getting in the way of the answer.
God does not give us everything we ask for, because He loves us and wants what is best for us. We may think we know what is best for us, but God has a higher perspective than we do. He sees where each decision we make ends up and He wants to protect us from harmful decisions. Think of an ant, a tiny little creature which walks on the same ground we do, yet because of the ant's size relative to ours, it cannot see the things we can. The ant's perspective is much smaller than ours. Ever look at an ant trail and see how it wanders all over the place to get to the ultimate destination? We look at that and say, Why didn't the ant just go straight? It would have gotten to it's goal a lot sooner and with far less effort and exposure to danger if it had gone straight, but it does not have our higher perspective. This is the same situation between us and God. He wants to show us the straight way. We can allow Him to direct our paths or we can direct our own.
The answer: Get out of the way and let God.
Sometimes in delivering the answer to our prayers, it involves sacrifice on our part. Sometimes that sacrifice can involve discomfort or even a little pain. Yet when the discomfort or pain comes we say, "No way! I want my prayer answered, but I don't want to experience any temporary discomfort to get it." That is not trusting God and His higher perspective. In that kind of situation God is not the "Boss".
God bless you.

God always hears our prayers and our cries. He gave humans a free will though. Every decision we make has a consequence whether good or bad. With that said- the world is full of people that make bad decisions every day. I mean who would purposefully put smoke into their lungs? Of course there will be consequences for that.
Also you look at Job in the Bible and he was a pretty good guy and was considered blameless before God, yet he suffered and cried out to God for help. /seemingly God allowed him to go through hell on earth. Why??The truth is that all humans have sinned and therefore deserve eternal punishment in a torturing hell. Therefore all the blessings and help we receive from God is already above and beyond what we deserve.
We can't go to God and tell him to bless us and hear our cry. He is almighty and has already blessed us with the greatest blessing ever- eternal life of peace in Heaven if we will but follow Him on this earth.

It is a very good question that you raise there.
There is so much suffering in the world , especially in under developed countries.
Wars ,famines , crime , all sorts of pestilences.
Why doesn't God do anything ?
The reason is this.
Adam and Eve were perfect individuals , as many no doubt agree , but they turned away from God preferring Satan's suggestion of self rule.
Now God plainly knows that man cant look after himself properly , as he can.
Ecclesiastes 8:9 says '--- that man has dominated man to his injury'
This challenge made in the garden of Eden of who had the right to rule over man from Satan needed to be settled.
God is loyal and just , so it is his way to provide proof that Satan is a lier and that man is unable to rule himself.
The best way to accomplish this was to simply let time pass.
The truth would be proven over time.
If Satan was correct , then man would flourish under his hand, if he was wrong , and man could not rule himself then the world would slip into chaos and violence.
As you view the worlds media , papers tv , internet news etc, , what do you honestly think is the condition of the world , flourishing with goodness , or a real heap of trouble. ??
So that is why God doesn't intervene in the lives of people.
A much bigger issue is at stake , the right to rule over all creation.
We just need to be patient and wait for all of Gods promises to come true.
He says that he will soon right all of the wrongs.
Satan is a lier , so he and his earthly followers will soon be destroyed , leaving only genuine God fearing individuals alive.
What we need to do today is make sure that the way that we worship God is in complete harmony with his will and correct teachings from the Bible.
We would not want to be clinging to false doctrines , like hellfire , immortality of the soul , and the trinity.
These things Jehovah God hates , and he most certainly will not support or look after anyone that follows such things.
Yes , he wont even listen to their prayers.

God does not exist to rescue man from himself. The innocent suffer, the righteous die and all along the evil prosper. Why? Perhaps its because God wants it that way, I doubt it. Perhaps its because God is cruel and unusual, in which case why would you pray to such a being?
I prefer the Buddhist idea about God - or the lack there-of. Buddha said that for an all powerful creator God to ignore the cries of the world, he would have to be cruel.
I am not entirely sure that this was the Buddha declaring atheism so much as it was him challenging our notions of who or what God is.
So my answer is, perhaps if you meditate on the matter you may change your view of God instead of expecting God to conform to your view (a view that you came by innocently).

He does answer but not always right away.
In a way, God is like a mother/father to every one of us. If you can't swim your self to shore when he is not available, you may drown. If you can't tread water or learn some way to get back to land, it would take a miracle to save you. And the miracles rarely happen in real life....
I have to be completely honest because I've been through a lot of suffering in my life. You need to rather than burst out in fits, like a desperado, and just be real with yourself and your life.

properly for one you no one will like the honest answer to that yet actually raping someone is not in many circumstances the worst element every person, which incorporates her, has performed. each individual in this earth has performed worse. Why do any persons deserve any sort of particular clinical care from God? Now might want to she have handed via it? No, yet neither does she deserve particular clinical care from God that no one else receives. even as he forces himself into her, she prays to easily die because she would not favor to be impure for God anymore. Being raped would not even make you impure formerly God.... so as it is pretend motivation. Nor will God answer any such sinful prayer as to wish for lack of existence... as for putting chosen to get an abortion in prices, um both she chosen to get one or she never were given one or her abortion replaced into really an same because the rape in words of ways it replaced into forced upon her, I actual have never heard of an abortion like that, no longer that the first makes her worse than yet another yet putting chosen in prices is only stupid. also, as for praying for evidence God exists if she would not seem and hear what's shown to her she won't be able to blame God for her own movements to brush aside God, and if God hasn't replied yet that does no longer mean God won't ever answer.

He does not ignore our prayers, nor does He refuse to "help us out". I have had alot of prayers answered, and continue to every day. Does this mean that God will step in every time and thwart our free agency to prevent any unpleasantness from occurring? Of course not. That would defeat the whole purpose of this life.

God always help .. but the Bible tells you that man will have tribulations, And we will have transgretions cause we are siners. God never forsakes us. And he is always around and near. If you need Our Lords help just call for help and ask for what you need in specific and conclude your prayer in the name of Jesus Amen.

help you for what, make you rich have a good spouse, for you to have good off springs, etc
its called earning ones dues, just like earthly laws we work and we reap, same principals with God, do good works and then you watch your harvest grow.
Just say thank you God fro all you have given, instead of moaning.
