Before I slept, I prayed Id be shown a good decision about my job, whether to leave it or not, and voila! I see myself dying my hair to pink, purple, green yellow and all sorts of colors.

I was raised in NJ. I used to get sinus/allergy headaches every Spring and Fall. In Florida, I rarely had them. Here in Wisconsin, I'm getting them each Spring and Fall. Nothing over the counter is helping, and neither is anything the doctor had me try. It gives temporary relief sometimes, but not this time. Day 4 now. I figured there is something that grows in the northern US that doesn't grow in the south. Do any of you go through this as well?

I think it's a good that at last we have Jesus portrayed as a natural human being. Why can't Jesus love a woman ?

I wonder how many people will get all pious and horrified at this thought ?

I am 40 and have had only 1 wisdom tooth form. It has been primarily inactive for the past 10+ years (just at the surface, it is small and is fine left alone). And there is only the possibility of 1 other ever forming, and it is lying dormant.

So, I just read this incredibly interesting article on the evolution of human teeth formation at it led me to wonder if I am a freak or is there more like me?

And secondly, isn't this proof of human evolution that the fundies love to say doesn't exist?

This is a trend i have observed for many years serving in retail. The good looking girls, (even the most beautiful), are almost always very nice customers who smile, make eye contact, tell me to have a nice day etc.

This is not because i treat them any differently either. I treat every person the same. Infact a very beautiful girl today, i treated her with poor customer service but she was still very nice to me.

Of course there are exceptions to every rule... but on the whole.

we're told to have hope, and yet the evil continues..
we're told to have faith, and yet evil surrounds us
we're told to pray and yet our prayers seem to fall on deaf ears
we're told to look on he bright side and yet the darkness continues to engulf us
we're told to reject the bad, and yet the good still struggles
we're told to love each other, and yet hate is pervasive all over
we're told to feed the hungry, and yet starvation is par for course
we're told not to kill, and yet killing is now a sport
we're told to marry and propogate and yet we use the excuse of "choice" if there is an unwanted pregnancy.
.
How I wish we were all strong enough to pray together to ONE God, and to rid the earth of its many evils.

Until then, I continue to wonder...

some people need some form of spirituality.

spiritual doesn't neccessarily mean godly. i interpret it as an altered state of mind like hypnosis or meditation.

There are other cultures where suicide was considered honerable. Another perspective, which worked in their society.

The argument of considering the people that are left behind is not valid either. If it was so - there would be noone to go to war. The choice is a form of suicide by itself, but accepted, as it seems to have a higher purpose - but never the less a suicidal decision.

Please refrain from arguments such as "because God/the bible, etc say so"
I'm looking for a technical reason as to why suicide is considered wrong to do.

Right so.....
God created evrything so he created us so shouldn't this mean that my sexuality is part of what was createfd by god??

but then so why does god not accept gays or lesbians??

Do Seax Wiccans use the Prose/Poetic Edda, or is there something that is Anglo-Saxon that they use maybe?

Recently on a long airplane ride I was seated next to an obnoxiously talkative man. I was obviously immersed in a book but he asked me a bazillion personal questions such as my AGE and kept commenting on my small stature. I've had 2 car wrecks and caught in the PTO of a tractor. Thought I was in good shape until arthiritis set in. I used to hear elders talk about arthirits when I was a kid and didn't understand. But, I sure as heck do now!! Have a good day!!

I live in Australia and my brother read an article in the paper involving Catholic preists being paedophiles and cover ups since the early 70's.
And another case of a woman in a hospital being harassed by a preist using his finger (You can guess where).
He told her no one would believe her if she told anyone.
They are at it again When are they going to do something about this?
It is out of hand and it needs to stop.
