I don't really speak about my beliefs in detail regarding spirit communication etc
but today I have seen many posts speaking about con men and cold reading etc

so I ask you about one of the readings I have done
it was online ( with someone from R&S )
I desribed their grandfather in detail and gave some more information
the best piece of information I gave them was what language their grandfather spoke ... and it was a language that I had never even heard of
all was confirmed
so I ask you , if I cant see the person I am reading , am not charging for anything I am doing , and giving specific information such as a language spoken ...
is this cold reading , conning someone ?
can you explain it ?

unfortunately for me ... I cant tell you who I was reading ( it isnt my place to )
although it would blooming well help my case here lol

I was raised Catholic, and I completely embrace my Catholic faith, but in recent years allogations have been made against our priests regarding wicked sexual acts with younger members of our parishes. How do you justify remaining a Catholic despite these atrocities?

Even Jesus spoke on and kept the sabbath; he never mentioned that he changed the sabbath to another day or gave such right to any other to do so. I read the King James version of the Bible, and it mentions not that there was a change of days. The seventh day is Saturday, I think.. Is there yet a church that holds to all the commandments, including the fourth?

So, I am currently sitting with a friend who has been all around the world and studied many religions. Please clarify what he is telling me; is it true that the (not sure of the exact number of) virgins which are promised to martyrs upon their death and so on are actually virgin BOYS in this religion? He insists that this is true. If so, how could such a thing be held out as incentive for religious purposes? That is just fundamentally WRONG

i haven't seen my mother in almost 3 years. i was 4 months pregnant the last time i had seen her: my mother & father were together & while they were still married my mother decided to have an affair. she came home asked for my permission to get a divorce. when i thought about it i really didn't care. they got divorced & my father let this new man live with us seeing that they got married. so we were all living together my husband, mother, father, 2 younger sisters, & her new husband. seeing that this man was from another country & was brought up that there was a respect factor he felt that my sisters and i had to treat him like he was our father. he tried to take away my car, went into our room & stole. y mother and i got into fights which stressed me out and made me almost loose the baby.so my husband & i left & we stayed at my aunts house where we had to sleep on the floor.she didn't care,when i wrote her a letter telling her how i felt she took everything i said the wrong way

When I first became an internet afficionado I received many emails on a variety of subjects and like many took them to 'heart' as maybe a newspaper story in the Washington Post.

Soon I learned with the help of a cyber buddy.

Now I check out those I have questions about and it is amazing how many folk are 'out there' with nothing better to do than spread fear or other erroneous information.

My husband and I were baptised in 2002 and saved then also through The Chruch of Christ. We somehow haven't been attending church regularly. I believe that you must walk with Jesus to get to heaven and God.

However I would like to know about other religions. It doesn't hurt one to learn something new. Would you please name a religion and tell a little about it (who they worship and why, etc) if someone has already named one religion then maybe you can name another one.

I was raised on only knowing thing's from the Bible and through Church of Christ and thats just how it was... so I am ignorant when it comes to other religions and would liek to have the chance to know about them.

This morning I took my 8 year old son out to breakfast at a family restaurant.There were 2 elderly men seated next to us,and one kept using swear words throughout his conversation.It would be different if they were out at a bar...but in this place,with a child nearby...how RUDE! I almost said something like 'Can you watch your language around a young child?'--but then,thankfully,they got up and left.(Maybe becuase of the evil stare I gave him.lol)

I heard a lot of people talk about Catholics.... Just because we were the church that everyone else branched off of...... You don't hear other Catholics discriminate against other catholics.
