YOU'RE SO RIGHT; THE CATHOLIC CHURCH DERIVES ALL OF ITS TEACHING AUTHORITY FROM ITS TRADITION, THE DOCTRINE WHICH HAS COME DOWN TO IT FROM CHRIST. SAINT PETER WAS THE FIRST POPE, THE LAST SUPPER WAS THE FIRST MASS, THE APOSTLES BECAME THE BISHOPS OF THE CHURCH. JESUS TOLD PETER; "UPON THIS ROCK YOU WILL BUILD MY CHURCH". SATAN HAS ALWAYS ATTACKED THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. THE FAITHFUL WILL NOT ALLOW SATAN TO DESTROY THE FAITH THEY CARING DEEP INTO THEIR HEART FOR "GOD THE FATHER", THE BLESSED MOTHER WILL CRUSH SATAN'S HEAD AT THE END TIMES.

How do you figure catholics were the first church? The NT talks about the church of early believers who, by my research, were originally Jews at Jerusalem. Your popes(caesars) were the ones who copped the Christian faith from the Jews- not the other way around. Aaah, historical revisionism; it's the PC thing to do these days.

I converted to another church other than than the Catholic Church because the leaders of the church misleading their members. I'm still a Catholic member by baptism when I was a small child. Be mindful of hurting one of another because Jesus says. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12

I don't think that people hate Catholics. And why do you say that everyone branched off of the Catholic church. Wrong. The issue at this moment in the Catholic church is that they are full of pedophiles. Thats a problem. And its not just one or two of them.. Its lots. Another issue with the Catholic church is that honey you don't earn your way to Heaven. You can eat as many crackers as they can shove down your throat. You can give as much money or worldly possessions as you possibly can. You can do everything they tell you to do. And you still aren't going to Heaven. It's all about whats in your heart. Not about confession or hail marys. bye!!

Everyone??? I'm one of those everyones, and I certainly don't hate Catholics. In fact, I hate nothing. I have never understood the competition that exists between the hundreds of different religious philosophies. It is just so silly. To all you believers, just go forward, practice the rituals that make you feel the best, and accept the practices of everyone else's rituals, as long as they do no harm. Dang.

Strange as it is we Catholics are seldom attacked by Atheists here, the most frequent attacks come from the super saved and holier-than-thou evangelicals like CJ for example.
Of course according to these people everyone but themselves are going to Hell, little wonder they drive people to distraction and bore the pants of the rest of us here.

Catholics don't discriminate against other Catholics... But they frequently discriminate against everyone else.
And I'm not talking about evil religion bashing here, I'm talking according to their own rules. For example, my wife is no longer a Catholic since I wouldn't convert. She wasn't allowed to marry a non-Catholic in the Catholic church.
