Give Me Your Do's And Dont's please ....

So I got this new job, and I like it, but I want to avoid being the new "employee" that gets off to a bad start. I tend to be aloof at first if I don't meet a co-worker that I can relate with immediately. I know I do this partly out of shyness, but I know I need to break this habit.

Any advice?

without being insulting. Also, some people have this persistent habit to 'yell' at their cellphones. Sometimes, the voice can be so loud and shrill that you can hear it at the other end of the hall.

You also have to think twice when you know who you're speaking to, e.g. if it's a 6'8" Black guy with an angry look, a redneck trashy bimbo - I mean the kind of people who are likely to charge back at you with something like "Wha-chew lookin' at?" You simply don't want to mess with their attention problems

But does that mean you have to tolerate their nuisance? Well mostly EVERYONE does

Possibly when a dance is recited, a feel for the dance is piled upon a dancer and sets in becoming the life of the dance. Could the vedic scripture be a subliminal inert emotional chreography of a the life of a dance?

If the real scpetics truly believe that there are no such things as ghost, why do they incessently keep trying to prove that they don't exist. If they are fair dinkum, they shouldn't have to prove a thing!!!! Should they???

When Robert Bailey was attacked at a party by a group of whites he was allegedly beat hit over the head with a beer bottle. Justin Sloan, one of the whites who attacked Bailey at the party, was in fact charged and convicted of battery.

He recieved probation.

I dont know why this doesn't get reported, but that is what happened.

White guys jump black kid - one white guys gets charged with simple assault and gets probation. Black guys jump white kid - all six are charged with attempted murder.

I think the failure of the media report ALL the facts is confusing people.

From studying and just applying some reason I've come up with the following structure of the new testament:

1 - Gospel accounts of Jesus with Mark being a bit more realistic.

2 - Gnostic-like gospel of John and his tripped out book Revelations

3 - Everything else was penned by Paul or his friends. Even 1 Peter was penned by Silvanus/Silas, a friend of Paul.

4 - James - sermon but is in contrast to Paul's teachings.

5 - Books not included because they didn't jive with the Council of Nicea's doctrines.

Atheism is, essentially, a negative position. It is not believing in a god, or actively believing there is no God, or choosing to not exercise any belief or non-belief concerning God, etc. Whichever flavor is given to atheism, it is a negative position.

"Since atheism cannot be proven and since disproving evidences for God does not prove there is no God, atheists have a position that is intellectually indefensible."

Faith, however, is not something atheists like to claim as the basis of adhering to atheism. Therefore, atheists must go on the attack and negate any evidences presented for God's existence in order to give intellectual credence to their position. If they can create an evidential vacuum in which no theistic argument can survive, their position can be seen as more intellectually viable. It is in the negation of theistic proofs and evidences that atheism brings its self-justification to self-proclaimed life.

An American businessman, who was visiting the Philippines, was standing on the beach of a small country village about mid morning when a small “Pam” boat with just a father and 2 sons came in from fishing. Inside the nets of the small boat were several pounds of fresh fish.

The American complimented the Filipino on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them. The Filipino replied only a little while. The American then asked why he didn't stay out longer and catch more fish.

The Filipino said he had enough to support his family's immediate needs. The American then asked, but what do you do with the rest of your time?

The Filipino fisherman said, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take a nap, with my wife Maria we stroll into the village each evening where I sip Jazz (local cola) and play guitar with my friends and everyday we spend time with our Lord Jesus. I have a full and busy life, my friend.

Is all morality subjective to a point? Even a religious believer chooses which religious book to get his morals from. On what basis does he make that choice?

And within any holy book there are bound to be conflicts and multiple interpretations. The believer must CHOOSE which moral guideline to follow and which to ignore.

"turn the other cheek" or "an eye for an eye"

On what basis does one choose?

It seems to me that the religious person chooses right and wrong for himself just as the atheist does. The religious person may narrow his choices but he ultimately writes his own moral code just as the atheist does.

The difference is, the atheist admits that its only his opinion

Why is the Bible 100% true? (because it is the inspired word of God)
How do you know the Bible is the inspired word of God? (because it says so)
Where does it say so? (In the Bible)

See? Perfect logic....
