Jesus said if your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and if your eyes causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away, I have never witness this happened, does it mean that Christians don't sin or they are just ignoring these words of Jesus?

Person A or B.

A) A person who is not open about their past and keeps to themselves because it's embarrassing and they do ot want to hurt people. They are disowned by their family for being gay and they do not talk about it out of fear that other people will not want to come out of the closet because their life might be just like theirs and the person is more concnered about the well being of others more so than their own.

B) A person who is open about their past and their family and that they want people to know that what happened to them is not going to happen to everybody and they can learn from their experience.

1) Jesus said, If you don’t believe in who I am at least believe in what I do. He lived a moral life helped people and sacrificed himself. 2) Most of the Christian founders personally believed they were living in the end times, but most people in the world at the time never heard of Jesus. 3) Paul said, though they don’t know the law they show that they have the law written in their hearts by their works.

How can these Christians groups call themselves fundamentalist when they don’t believe the whole Bible?

shouldn't we have more positive, uplifting names for international measurements?

For example, why don't we change "Greenwich *Mean* Time" to "Greenwich *Nice* Time" ?

Nobody likes a *mean* person . . . why would we like a *mean* time ???

Hello all! I pray that you are all doing well today. Today I find myself in the position where I am asking for prayer. I am having terrible problems with my neck and shoulder. It is a good possibility that my spine is out of place. This has affected my sleep. When I lay down it feels like my head is being squushed. It is so painful. As of right now, my husband and I are in a financial situation, so I am unable to go to the doctor about this. This is going on my second week. I know that OUR LORD is GOOD! I know His name Jehovah--Rapha, the Lord who heals. Please friends, pray for healing, pray that this pain would be eased. Thank you so much! And I love you all, Cat

Does he Bible Fail as God's words? Apparently it does. It takes only ONE counter argument to destroy God's word. If God knows everything, especially his OWN creation, then he knows the science behind it and he wouldn't be idiotic to quote science which doesn't exist. Lets see?

Well, last night, I was laying in my bed, and I was taking forever to get to sleep. This happens alot, (in fact, every night!) so it was nothing new. Finally, I got to sleep (but I didn't remember it, as one does. Or rather, doesn't). The next morning, my dad woke me up and told me to get ready for the day ahead. I was eating breakfast at the table, still half-asleep, when he said, "The weirdest thing happened last night. Are you awake enough to listen?" "Just gimme another minute..." I said. I rounded up my backpack and stuff, came back (more awake this time), and said, "Alright lay it on me." He started to explain how he had come to check on me last night, after I was asleep (flashback!!!). "I came in to check on you when you sat straight up and started speaking jibberish. It sounded alot like Greek, or Latin. And your eyes. They were...different, like they were looking through me, not at me. It felt like you weren't there. It felt really creepy." (continued with added details)

their faith in guns will "save" them from having to go to their "Heaven" for a long time. A contradiction? "I have faith that such a place exists, but I will shoot anybody that tries to send me there by shooting me. I will shoot him first. Better he go to Heaven (or Hell) than me. And of course it is always the other person who will go to Hell for killing a fellow being. This dreamer will go to Heaven for his killing, because he reasons that if he didn't shoot the other guy, the other guy might have shot him. One killer goes to Heaven and the other killer goes to Hell. It takes a lot of faith to believe that convoluted nonsense, doesn't it?
When he meets God at the pearly gates, he will say "God, you have to let me into Heaven, because the United States Constitution guarantees me the right to own a gun, and not even God can buck the United States Constitution." And God will reply "You're right. I have been outruled by your Constition. You have beaten me with your faith!

It is bad enough that all are born in the imperfections of sin that has each dying from birth
and death can come at any age [ from many ailments, body malfunctions or an accident or from many disasters as this planet earth is not life sustaining ], so death can occur any time other than age 70 or more for old age.
Jesus had died for all [ all who died before his first coming, all at that time, all to be after that time ]. born in sin Adam passed onto all his offsprings, that Jesus might save them to eternal life who believe upon him John 3:16; 17:3; Rom.5:1-14;

The least any one can do is resist deliberate sins and shum evil and tell Satan and demons to get the behind me as Jesus is the focus for salvation and if we did not have that hope, by this time in the time frame, all would have already been wiped out.

By this we know the promise is sure in its time.

actually show an initial interest in God and just let atheists go on their way?
Is arguing over something like this really worth the time and effort?
Christians want to save people of course, but isn't the time better spent on people who are interested in hearing what we have to say?
Does arguing get us anywhere, or does it just irritate you and get you off center?
Are we supposed to fight against people that hate us or dislike our beliefs, or should we instead fight for what we love and who we love and not waste the time we have so little of on people who are bothered by us?
If someone is willing to have a decent conversation, then by all means debate, but why beat your head against a wall?
God will call who he has chosen and if they are chosen then their heart will soften, but we should pay attention to the more open fields of the world.
Just an opinion.
What do you think?

With the vast amount of religions, how does one know that religion "X" is the right religion? People convert their beliefs all of the time and thus people who are utterly convinced of one religious belief, change their minds and adopt a new one. So how would one know which is the right religion, how do they know they are absolutely sure?
