They don't "think" at all.
And why would Primoa want bear arms? Aren't his own arms good enough, or does he insist on acting on the right to go out into the american wilderness and hack the fore-limbs off a grizzly?
[For the record, Primoa... where in the bible does it mention guns and the right to have them? Hmm?]

I am sure the person who was attacking you with a gun will not being going to Heaven. Self defense and killing someone are two totally opposite things. I am not for guns at all but I have no right to tell others whether they want to own one or not, especially if they are hunters. It is just a new type of weapon, no different from swords, spears or any other archaic weapons.

well maybe just maybe, being armed prevents a criminal from taking the life of someone who was not to be "snuffed out" early. I believe the commandment "do not kill" is talking about cold blooded Murder, not self defense. There is much threaded through out the word about defeating your foes with "the sword" Some people carry guns, some don't, some would use them, some would not, and anyone who has faith in God has to give an account to God for how he used that faith. Who are you to Judge?

David didn't have a gun. David had a few stones and a sling shot. David killed a giant with the giant's own sword after his sling shot stone knocked the giant unconscious. God calls David "a man after God's own heart."
David fought on the side that God called "right."
Every man has a right to defend himself against someone planning on killing him. And the killer if he repents and ask forgiveness from God and lets God change his heart can still go to heaven just like the man that he killed who was a Christian.
Guns don't kill. Men kill. Don't ever give up your right to own a gun. If you do, only the law enforcement and unlawful will have them.
If a man will not protect his family, who will? God gets unhappy with men who fail to protect their family members. Law enforcement cannot protect our families. The family protects the family. I repeat "THE FAMILY PROTECTS THE FAMILY." And God is the believer's protection and provision.
The family who has God has everything.

Killing in self defense is not a crime. It is also not a sin.If it were a sin,it probably would be a crime, concidering that our laws closely mirror biblical laws. Our founding fathers did this not by accident ,but by design,as this country was designed in a christian mold.It is glaringly obvious that you have no regard for God or the rights granted,no,guaranteed to us as American citizens by the constitution.Your unfettered and unfounded disdain and contempt are detestible and are a vile insight into your polluted mind.

Actually, I think that YOU are the most deluded person.
You go about tearing down straw men that you build up in the vain imagination of your heart, then you pat yourself on the back as though you did something wonderful! And a lot of others will pat you on the back as well. They join in your delusions, I guess.
Like they say, "Self deception is the worst and most dangerous kind."
Why not ask a legitimate question for a change, rather than a scoffer's?
Someone once told me that there are no dumb questions, but if I ever do find one, that tells me a lot about the asker!
Now, go clean up the mess you made with your straw man, it's blocking the way for others to get by!

Even Christ informed his followers to sell their cloaks and purchase a sword. you will possibly properly be a devoutly non secular and non violent individual and nonetheless prefer to preserve your existence, the lives of others and your usa. As somebody already properly published the commandment does not not say "thou shall not kill" the suited interpretation is "thou shall not homicide". Even in god's eyes there's a difference between a justifiable killing and a criminal killing. No the place in the bible does it show which you're predicted to easily placed as much as somebody whilst they're attempting to homicide you.

I think that you are really just over-analyzing this a little bit. It is all about self-defense. God has not said that we cannot defend ourselves. As a matter of fact, we are supposed to defend our families. We cannot let someone come into our home with the intentions of hurting us or our family and not do something about it. It is not a contradiction to NOT want to die, just because you believe in heaven. I believe wholeheartedly in heaven. But, I do not want to die right now. I have family. A husband and two kids. And I want to see my husband succeed and I want to see my two kids grow up and turn into wonderful, successful human beings. And they need me. I am the matriarch of the family. I take care of not only their physical needs, but their emotional needs as well. So, if you think of this on human terms and remember that we are all human, it makes more sense than you realize.

No, that is incorrect.
I do not place my "faith" In a gun, altough I do own an arsenal of weapons and guns.
I will defend myself and my family with a Gun if need be, but this is not a violation of the 10 Commandments, that says "thou shalt not murder" it is thou shalt not murder not thou shalt not Kill, understand the context of the passage, "kill" as it is translated in old 1611 English means pre-meditation. a big difference there, this is often misunderstood.
As far as killers going to heaven or hell ? read the words of Jesus concerning salvation in the parable of the workers in the vinyard concerning the 11th hour conversion.
People often believe that they can attain salvation by works as opposed to Salvation by faith.
It is faith alone that saves us, not of works.

Gun owning is controversial but you seem to be making all killings equal.
Do all soldiers need to be labelled as murderers?
So much for your "convoluted nonsense"!
